Yep is the full plastic phone, but this plastic looks a like a lot like metal.. Frame, back, everythin is plastic, and phone is really lightweight because of that.. Also, no 2,5D glass, no GG protection on screen.
Good staff is it comes with 8,1, have ok cameras, but i think that Redmi 5 Plus (Note 5 in India) is better phone, and price is the same for 3/32GB..

Best budget phone yet...
I'ved using it for 2 weeks.. and its satisfy me
Camera features is so premier..
EIS, split screen, you won't get that with other budget phone..
flash is so bright..
So far it's the best budget phone.

I heard indian version y2 comes with metal body.. it would be grateful if somebody answer this.. sale is on 12th hopefully we will know about metal body in y2

So Screen will broke.
Not recommended.

Which has a better rear camera module, the Y2 or redmi Note 5 (SD625)? I know the Y2 is dual but is the primary sensor the same as on the Note 5?

No issues so far with any Xiaomi I have: MI4S for my kid and Redmi Note 4 my wife.
Xiaomi has perhaps best price/performance ratio atm
