Amazing phone.. I look only Music and camera quality.. Both are stellar.. Updated it yesterday.. running smoothly.. using it for 1 year.. amazing..

    I just received pie update miui 10.3.4 ...I use India as my region

      P.S. Thinking about change my Redmi S2 to Mi 8

        If you haven't got android 9 update:
        Change your region to India or Russia and check the "get updates earlier" box in system update setting.

          After update to Android 9 Pie (9APQK) 10.3.3 perfomance, speed, battery and camera gets ita best performance ever.
          Xiaomi is really the best Brand

            Hi to everyone! My Redmi S2 still has not got Android 9.
            Does anybody know why?
            I have global version with 3GB RAM and 32 GB Internal. Located in Belarus (CIS region)

              Upgraded to Pie and MIUI 10.3.3. Seems good.

                  Just ordered a Redmi Y2 for my wife at an attractive effective price of Rs 6,000 for the 4GB, 64GB veriant.

                  The Y2 (only gold colour) was priced at Rs 7999 for a special discount on Amazon India. We exchanged our 3-yr-old Moto X Play for Rs 1,700 and we got a further discount on card payment. Net effective payment: Rs 6,000.

                  For a 6", SD625, 4GB, 64GB, dedicated SD card slot and Android P phone, I feel Rs 6,000 is a great deal. It is true that the phone may be dated in specs, but wife's usage is basic (whatsapp, internet, calls) and I feel it should suit her just fine.

                  We had checked Y2 review on gsmarena and the phone had a great review.
