Sorry but personally I think Xiaomi should've left Redmi series out of USB type C port and remain using Micro USB. Having no extra tiny stuff like converter is way better than having one. Such a hassle.
Also, I think maybe it's time for Xiaomi to step up their game by offering dual stereo loud speakers and AMOLED 2k and 5.7 inch and gorrila glass 5 and DxOMark collaboration. Beat Nokia 5/6 in terms of the most affordable, the cheapest, yet value for money smartphone.

Yes, the list continues, it also has USB type - C, and otg ( USB on- the- go ) and FM radio as well. Great staff, Great great staff there. I now see why Xioami some time came first in Chinese in sales department.

Now this is what I mean latest snapdragon 660, Micro SD Card up to 256gb, 32gb 3/4gb, 64gb 4gb, 16mp back camera, 13mp front camera, 24-bit/192khz audio, Infrared pot, fast charging 3.0, battery 3790 mAh all for 180 Euros. It will win all phones hands down in it's price category in all rounder performance. I know Huawei can challenge but they will leave many things out. This is in price brackets of €300 phones. If the price is indeed true then this would surely be hot hot cake and no phone can context.
