I had bought this phone last week. This pho... moreThe only solution is to unlock the bootloader, root the phone and:
1. With solid explorer go to root /system/build.prop
Open in SE text editor.
Find and change these two lines this way:
ro.qc.sdk.audio.fluencetype=none
persist.audio.fluence.voicecall=false
Save and reboot your phone.
This will switch off the buggy noise cancelation which causes audio problems during calls.
You will have to repeat it after a big update or ROM change.

For calls issue calibrate proximity sensor with app from Google play.

I have it more then a month, MIUI 9.2.3.0, Android 7.1.2. Works perfectly. Rear camera not the best one during night but good enough for me. Front camera good. Battery last 3 days with average use. Very impressed with phone.

I had bought this phone last week. This phone is having mic issue. That is other person in the call can't hear my voice properly. Almost all the callers are complaining me that they can't hear my voice properly.

I got the Prime version with 32gb and 3gb RAM with global miui 8 that updated to 9, for a few months now.
I am so glad I did. It's true that the screen should be 1080 but I guess that would raise the price significantly but in a normal everyday use, you will not mind.
No lagging until now, 3 miui updates so far and very happy with the primary camera. What I love is the audio settings for the handsfree.
Don't expect much from the front camera. If you are a selfie junkie you will be disappointed.
It's a cheap phone that will not disappoint you
