I shuld buy this tab or not or i shuld wait for next tab with k1 chip... It is not surre that they will release their next tegra note tab with k1 chip nd i dont knw that this tegra note 7 tab will hav future updates after kitkat like next Android 4.5 or any thing else..... hence so confusing for me... wait for next gen tab or buy this tab..! -_-

Though frankly, I have not experienced the previous Android versions on this tab because as soon as I got the tab, the latest version was waiting to be downloaded. You will not notice that the device has only one GB Ram. I've never felt the need for more RAM... except maybe in my ego.

Brought the device to Factory setting... and then everyting improved. I wish it came with a separate pin type charger too. That way the usb port could be free for connecting to a pc or a usb drive. I am using handwriting recognition for word processing and emails etc. It's a pleasure to have the stylus. A good buy. Cheers!!!

hi guys, I purchased xolo tegra note 2 months ago and here is my review. I purchased it just for gaming and trust it is the best thing I have ever seen the most powerfull tab for gaming. quad core processor with 72 core NVidia gpu makes it a gaming monster. I unlocked it and rooted this with a single supertool 2 software and downloaded all the games from torrent for free and all works like charm on full graphics. 1 gb ram doest slow this tab I can also play psp games on it only god of war works slow but it doesn't matter, trust me or not it is more powerfull than ps3 and xbox 360. if you can wait NVidia will launch tegra note 2 in September with 192 gpu core compatible with direct x 11 and open gl 4. the only draw back is it gets hot after a while but that's fine. install vlc player and u can play mkv video as well, camera is good, stylus is good but I don't use it, display is much better than other devices can play full hd videos sound is too powerfull with a woofer, its bit heavy but u wont feel it. purchase from flipcart for 15000 rates keeps on changing everyday so keep ur eye on it, trust me and go for it

If so, how well does it play (HD & FHD)? Another question-did the charging rate improve only after rooting or did you install a software after rooting for that purpose?

Hi, I rooted my device. Freeing up the possibilities on the beast. Now I can send apps to SD card. The charging rate has improved drastically. The tab feels much smoother and it's a pleasure to use.

Updated to 4.4.2. The tab is smooth and good to touch. I find the buttons a little cumbersome to operate. Also the charging seems very slow. Everything else seems fine and the tab feels very premium.

Guys, got my Tegra Note 7 tablet yesterday... I am excited. Got 4.2.2. immediately an update was waiting, downloaded 4,3 and now 4.4.2 was waiting to be updated which is happening at the moment.
Initial thoughts: The tablet is well designed and feels sturdy. Display is better than expected. It is fast with no lags. The stylus works fine. Games run great. It is going to be fun watching movies, reading books, scribbling and drawing, browsing the net and playing games.

Boy! aren't you glad to get the KitKat 4.4.2 update? the Promise has been delivered. I'll be getting my tablet in the next 3-4 days. Immediately update to KitKat.... I am excited. Cheers!!! to Nvidia and it's efforts to keep the boys satisfied. (sorry girls, I assume this is mostly a boys only tablet - no offence wink!)

the next tegra note must absolutely have 7,7-8 inch screen
if so, along with fhd, k1 chipset, better stylus and adequate battery+ HDMI (essential feature but rare unfortunately)this thing will sell by the million!
So, waiting for the nvidia tegra note 8!
