I am using xoloq1000s for 10 days.and believe me there is no phone under 25k.which can stand for one second in front of this king.for all who don't know about xolo,its an Taiwanese brand like HTC so u will always get the best design and build quality.don't waste time buy it.

At this price... Mouth watering specs.. I have searched a lot before zeroing in on this one.. Very sleek and solid build. Xolo will go a long way if they maintain this quality at this price.

I have purchased this handset on Friday 30th August 2013, earlier I had Xolo Q800, which I sold off about 3 Months back as I wanted to go for a MTK 6589T powered phone. after waiting a lot and doing a lot of search, I shortlisted Iocean X7 elite / Zopo ZP980 Ultimate / Zopo ZP990. but finding these devices was a big issue, buying from ebay was a risk as there won't be service suppport, was just getting confused, I was aware that Q1000S will launch in near future, but was not sure of the processor, the moment it was confirmed that this will be powered by MTK6589T I made up my mind to freeze on this because:
1-1080P vs 720P Display: No much of difference to human eyes so this part was OK!
2-2500Mah Battery was the best availablein this class, nearest competitor in this segment was Gionee E5, which has 2000Mah Battery.
3.-13 MP back Camera with BSI 2 sensor which was supposed to be good as I checked BSI2 details from the Omnivision site, front Camera 5 MP with BSI sensor is not heard of till now this is again a distinguishing feature.
4.-I already have used Xolo products and was more than convinced about their build quality and overall product, as compared to other Indian Manufacturers they have better build quality.
5.- 6.98mm thickness was not heard of from any Indian manufacturers (People may also may also call them Rebranders, but how does it matter as we will never go to china to source our handset from there, and we are also not sure of the Quality, which in rebranding we are sure of ).
These were the factors for making the decision for purchasing Q1000S, Now the experience:
1.- Looks and build quality are Superb!!!!! so 10/10.
2.- Camera Picture quality also is as expected So in this aspect also 10/10
3.- Touch screen is very responsive and its stock android with some additional apps like Xolo secure and Xolo battery app. inthis aspect 10 /10
4.- Antutu Benchmark was: 15274 / Nenamark 2 was 51.7 FPS. 9/10
5.- This can play Full HD video with ease. 10/10
6.- I am not so interested in the games but my son is, he has palyed real Steel / Subway surfers / Gunstrike 3D / Fight Liberal / Alaskan Hunt, and he says it runs smooth, he is exposed to many mobiles in my family and says that this is better. so again from him its 10/10.
7.- Internal Memory is 1.97 GB / Phine storage is 11.4GB / RAM 1 GB 563 MB free ( this lacks SD Card may be for any reason. so 7/10
8.- Sound from the speaker is not at all impresive, ring tone is merely audible so just 5/10 here.
Total score 71/80.
Note: Some people Say that Mediatek processors are not good, but MTK are the most power efficient processors, many multinational brands are using this and you will also see more products with MTK in coming months, so in my opinion just ignore those opinions.

This is my 4 xolo phone & it keeps getting better..I am in love with the camera..battery life is far better then any other phones in this range..I've used a micromax canvas 4 which is no where close to this phone...its sleek design is a add on..yes the speaker volume is low but come on u just can't keep complaining.. Just don't think twice go for it & thank me later.

Hi everyone..
I dont write or post about phones and all but i see that people are keen to know about the Xolo Q1000s.. Infact i myself was eager to know about as i wanted to buy it.. After reading alot from here and there and not getting satisfactory review i bought it thinking lets give it a chance...
So, i bought it yesterday (its not even been 24 hrs).. The first thing that came in my mind when i had it with me was "wow"..!!.. Although its slightly heavy but i dont think its that much which would give me any concern..
Ok now the overall info..
Its super smooth.. the UI is great..!!.. the 13mp camera is really good.. i was worried about it but thank god i am satisfied in this department.. the front camera is also good.. thumbs up!!..
I did the benchmark test and Bravo.. it scored 16748 which is phenomenal (keeping the ram in mind as its 1 gb)..!!!.. It beats Samsung S3 and is almost, almost equal to Note 2 (they are very xpensive)...
I downloaded apps like facebook, instagram, Cymera, Whatsapp, Ram bosster, Antutu benchmark.. and games Eternity Warriors 2, Iron Man 3, beach buggy blitsz and there is a pre installed game "Riptide".. THE PHONE IS STILL SMOOTH and PERFECT.. No lag.. since Iron man 3 is a heavy game its not super smooth but its smooth (hope u understand)..
Video quality is great.. Its HD so i expected the same... Till here its not less than 4.5 out of 5..
NOW, the concern... SOUND.!!!!.. :(
It sucks.. its really low.. i doubt if the ringer will always ding me as its low.. but i have heard that an update is under process which will increase the performance and this issue will be resolved so am hoping for the best..
16GB phone storage is actually 11.35 GB and internal storage is 1.97gb.. its ok ok for me but i wish their was a SD card slot.. and i also wish ram was 2GB.. but asking everythin at this price would be too much.. especially when the current market is up on rise... (we need to understand everything)..
Hope this helps... for me i give it a 3.5 to 4 out of 5 ... if the sound issue gets fixed then it will be 4.5 for me..

amo, 30 Aug 2013hello I'm planning to buy q1000s.. many say xolo is not goo... moreI have bought XOLO Q1000S yesterday. The phone is awesome. Gaming experience is amazing. Good screen resolution. Only disadvantage is Loud Speaker volume is low, neither while playing Music nor its ringing.
If they can help in fixing this low volume issue. The phone will be great.
