san, 27 Aug 2013dr frnds which is better, xolo q 1000s or canvas 4?Xolo Q1000S is far superior than C4 as it has better processor MTK6589T clocked at 1.5Ghz so the overall performance is way ahead of C4 and the Camera is also far superior as it has BSI 2 sensor in back camera(13 MP.) and BSI sensor in the front Camera(5 MP),Battery is 2500mah again better than C4, Xolo Q1000S is not so good in these aspects: single SIM and non expandable memory.

I have Purchased Q1000S yesterday, My experience with this handset is very satisfactory.
Antutu Score is 15274.
Nenamark 2 is 51.7 FPS.
Camera is superb there is a lot of difference in the pictures taken by Iris 504Q and this one, Xolo Q1000S is far better than the latter.( I have both )
I still need to check the battery.
Drawbacks are: Single SIM and Non expandable memory, but I have purchased this knowing these shortcomings, so nothing to say on these aspects. another thing volume seems to be low from the speakers, need to find out a solution for this.

THis has only 16GB inbuilt memory. It is not expandable memory which is the most disappointing thing.

Hello Ladies and Gents,
First of all, my Name is Vikram and i am posting from Bangalore, India and i have had worst experience with Xolo and its so called patheric customer care.
First thing to warn you guys about, never ever buy a XOLO mobile phone. Even if you dont have a mobile phon better use payphone but never this brand.
They are just a Cheap South East Asian Country Rip off phones.
I have used a XOLO A800 (please forgive me i am posting this in the wrong forum, i know this is the X1000 Forum still a word of caution will not hurt anybody)
I bought the Xolo A800 on January 12th and i used it only for 3 months hardly and it broke down as in the screen started flashing and sometime multiple display (Yes you've read it correctly the wall paper would split into two parts and would display the wall paper and the icon into two parts.)
It all started in the second month of my purchase of this phone, it would heat up even if i play a simple game like subway surfers or temple run then it started troubling me with the display, i have a low temper and dont get easily pissed, however i thought it could be the software issue so i thought i would give their tech support a chance to see if they can fix it.
Likewise i called up the customer care, they are not tech savvy and also made me do the same TS which i had already performed on the phone like hard reboot or restroing the phone to factory settings, with no luck.
The Customer care rep told me to hand over the phone to a collection point in the city. As advised i handed over the phone to the guy at collection point who happens to be a techie or intermediate person who works on behalf of Xolo however not officially appointed by them.
I was informed that i should get the phone repaired within 4 days and actually i was impressed by the TAT. However the irony is that still i havent got the phone and its been close to 4 months by September 10th it would be 4 months since i handed over the phone to them. I mean honestly even i build a phone by hand it would take me hardly 2m onths, i am unable to call customer care its always busy and never gets connected. (The trick is you gotta call them exactly @ 10:02 AM as the customer care opens at 10 AM in the morning)
And this is my story about me and Xolo A800 also i have observed one more thing at the collection point there seems to be a problem with the XOLO phones especially with the display, who ever had come to the collection point to hand over their phone majority of them had problems with the display.
Luckily i bought a NEXUS 4 and really happy about it, it never hung on me.
Moral of the story, dont buy a cheap rip off products which will crash within 3 months.

san, 27 Aug 2013dr frnds which is better, xolo q 1000s or canvas 4?well..firstly i had the same question...and i cudnt get a concrete answer...on paper xolo q1000s is a better performer...bt as it s a successor to q1000, which has loads of bad reviews on mouthshut.com i think micromax canvas 4 wud be a better bet...camera of xolo q1000s has an image stabilization feature missing in canvas 4. p.s. thickness of xolo q1000s is definately enviable..!!

XOLO is one of the best brands which came to the market very recently. Actually 'XOLO' is a brand name only. And LAVA is only importer. The correct name of the manufacturer nobody knows. I think ( after my all recent searches in the net ) the manufacturer of this xolo brand is ALPS international. This is a multi-international company which makes almost all parts of mobiles. So the build quality of this brand is actually superb only. I have XOLO Q1000 which I purchased recently. I am very much happy with the set.
