3]There you can see android 4.4.2. Clean on it several times and then "K" will appear on screen , again tap on K for few times you will see android kitkat logo.

AnonD-38095, 29 Jun 2014It is consuming 100 MB more Ram now. Ram utilization is better than jellybean. Delete some unwanted apps or cleanMaster if you are using it.
Clean master consumes more ram.

Pros after update
#Becomes faster between menu and home
#No lag to open apps
#Camera quality is increased. particularly hats-off for the voice recognition
#Sound department is better now. No fluctuations.(fixed in the previous jelly bean)
#Proximity sensor is working fine (fixed in the previous jelly bean)
Cons after update
#Lost smart call settings
#Google Now is not working properly, especially the call feature
#Big icons are really irritating (Other Launchers can be a solution)
#Gesture keypad is gone (Swift keypad helps to recover)
#App permission and Xolo power app are having bugs
#Battery charge is varying up and down as phone's need
#Lag is there when playing 720p videos in youtube (Viral Lite can do better)
#Not able to set two ring tones for two SIM
#Call department is bad than previous version
#Negligible lag while playing games which was not there in the previous version
#Options become less
Xolo just gave the update because they promised. Big problems with the Jelly Bean was sound fluctuation and proximity sensor's lag. Both were solved with an update and gave another update (Kitkat) which helps us to loose many of its good features. Only good part is that we can just boast about our kitkat update. Do we have any option to roll back to the previous version?
Q1010i is one of the prestige model of XOLO. They have to work on it. Otherwise it'll be a bad mark on it's goodwill

Hi... i followed the instructions given on Xolo website for updating to Kitkat. I downloaded the file named bmc_2.0.zip to my laptop and then transferred it to the root of internal memory and renamed it as update.zip
For novice, pls note that transfer to root means that it shd be transferred directly to internal memory without putting in any folder. It shd be single file visible there. Do not unzip but just rename it as update.zip
After that, the instructions are very unclear in the instruction manual downloaded from the website. However, I went to Settings - About phone - check for updates. It responded by saying that 'update.zip is available, shd it update'. I hit ok. The phone switched off automatically. In few seconds it lit up showing an image with 'error' message. I got worried but after some time the phone switched on and now when i check in the 'About phone' tab. The android version is showing as 4.4.2. I guess, its upgraded to Kitkat now.

Hey guys can anybody tell me how is battery life after update to the kitkat?because in jellybin battery performance is so poor..battery life in 3G mode is just like 10 hour..can anybody tell me am i only one who is having this battery problem?n yes it is unpredictable..it runs 12 hours somtimes,sometimes its reduced to 8 hour..its irritating i cant even think to play games because of this battery draining thing...pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls let me know yor answers...pls

I've been using Xolo Q1010i for a couple of months now. It's very poor in receiving wireless signal (I mean - worse than iPad). The worst problem is that the connection to wireless keeps dropping off. Sometimes restarting wireless solves the problem, but most of the time it doesn't work. Kindly help. Thanks in advance

Software update is buggy and among other problems there is a big. Big. Big problem of failing to sustain folders after restarting the mobile . I triec many times but every time the folder appeared empty with one or no applications inside. Please do some discussion on this matter also.

Kitkat update is buggy have been using for 3 days.when i restart the phone the icons i changed on main takbar are gone and google maps closing everytime i open it.

Download the stock rom from this link. Read the instructions that are given there about how to flash and which tools to use while flashing.

Voice capturing feature in camera is working fine.
You can use KK launcher for solving problem of big icon size.
Also download google keyboard from playstore for gesture typing feture.

Yes there are some bugs in the Kitkat build like when the screen is locked and u press power key, then sometimes it will not show the date. It will only show time. The xolo power app is also buggy. While still having 60% battery, it shows low battery mode enabled.

Just updated, speed has increased, camera quality just got better
I accidentally deleted contacts, now trying to recover it.
