After upgrading to android 4.4.2 Kitkat, battery life and performance is increased significantly.
No option for gesture typing, it was there in 4.2.2 jellybean.
Size of icons is also increased which I didn't like.
Less no. of default wallpapers as compared to 4.2.2.
Camera is also improved but there are less options as in 4.2.2. I don't know which all options are missing but on left side of camera I can see only 4 options , perviously I could find more options and scroll them, that's why I figured that some options are missing.
Xolo should release another update to fix this minor issues.

After updating xolo q1010i to kitkat, the performance has surely increased. Multitasking is more smooth. App opening time has been reduced. Battery backup is increased.

Firstly uninstall xposed framework and busybox if u installed and then full unroot from super su.....
After that install update u wont get any error like unexpected content or erroe message while installing...

superb phone. awesome looks. sleek n good design. camera. front camera is bad in normal light BT works fine in high light.
sound quality in default earpiece is satisfactory as per the budget..
yesterday I upgraded to kitkat4.4.2.
till then battery tym has improved. plus the user interface is still easy..
all in all best phone in this budget.

Like network issue or something.
If we all faced the same problem then I think xolo will notice that & send another ota update to fix it

Getting error, when updating xolo Q1010i.it stops in between the installation. how can i resolve this?? any one knows about it.

Hi, Yesterday I have updated my Q1010i with Kitkat, but after that there seems some network issue, connectivity is now poor compared to previous Jelly Bean. I tried on many locations the problem was the same. Please let me know if someone else is also having the same problem & also please help how to resolve this.
Performance is got much better now so I am happy except the connectivity issue.

beware..... After KitKat upgrade, file receiving via Bluetooth not working... File sending, pairing etc. Works.. SOMEBODY PLZ HELP!!!!

after updating to KitKat when I go to network mode and want to switch to gsm only there is no option it says wcdma only or gsm\wcdma auto option is there is someone facing the same problem

AnonD-277730, 26 Jun 2014can apps move to sd in Yes you can movie apps to sd or simply set sd card as default installation target so you can install as many apps as you want. We have got 2 GB to install apps which is a lot!
I have installed so many games and apps and yet got 400MB left.

Else manually download from xolo site.
