I presently have jellybean on my cell. Will it b beneficial upgradingto Kitkat ? I hope the battery back up won't decrease upgrading to KitKat.

I have purchased this mobile 2 weeks back with kitkat version from AMAZON.
Phone is Good Except You Tube App. If Videos with high resolution gets distorted image. Video goes ahead & sound gets delayed. not good for youtube.

Only the Kitkat os versions which are coming with new Xolo Q3000 and updates done by xolo service centers has internal App memory 4GB. rest all are having internal app memory 0.98 GB. that is why your phone is not able to install any apps as certain amount of internal app memory is consumed by all softwares even if we shift them to SD card.

Screen is gorgeous. i have to say the best in its price segment and size. RAM of 2GB makes multitasking easy. i used to see lags in my samsung S3 owing to its 1GB ram which was very less. front camera is good but rear camera is ok kind off. My S3 pics were better then xolo q3000. Battery lasts good for one and half day with 2g internet continous on.
No lags whatsover in internet surfing. 3G is also good and you will have a pleasant internet experience with it. Processor does gets heat up when 3G is running for long time and while playing heavy graphic intensive games owing to its outdated GPU. Build quality is great.
All in all a worthy product. :)

You might have updated to Kitkat from Xolo site. take your phone to a xolo service center and get it updated and you will see your phone's internal app memory is 4GB from then onwards. regarding other issues i am not so sure as i haven't faced them till yet. :)

2.sound clarity level increased
Cons
1.internal memory is still 0.98gb
2.unable to root the device
3.phone suddenly reboots by itself
