I had purchased this phone on Jan of this year and it was working wonderful till last week.. This monday I have noticed all of a sudden motion sensor stopped working, then after two days it gave an error of overcharging on 32% battery level. Also the phone was not connected to any charger.. then phone went dead.

Took it to service center they have tried to do Software reinstall but didn't work. Now they have mentioned it has to be sent to company and it will take approx 25 days or more (depends on the availability of the parts).. and no standby phone available. will keep you posted with any update.

    i am using Xoloq3000, facing problem of opening of Date/time section in settings. Its wriiten on as Unfortunatelly settings stopped working. pls. help in fixing the pblm

      I have used only 4GB of Internal storage and also I have 8GB memory card installed of which only 2GB is used. Still I am not able to download any more apps either on memory card nor internal storage.

Processor is same as 1.6 GHZ Mediatek quad core and GPU is same too. All other specs are same as mentioned in GSM arena and internal app memory has been increased now to 4GB which was 0.98 GB in Jelly beans version. Hope you will be more clear now whether to or not to buy this phone :)

You can use ShareIt app which enables fast transfer using your phone's wifi module to transfer 1GB file in just 5 minutes but the other phone should also have ShareIt installed. You can also try Clean master software app which cleans junk files regularly keeping phone memory clean of junk and thereby increases its efficiency. you can also use CM security to keep your mobile secure. :)

                i have updated to kitkat.
                but i would like to downgrade to jell bean 4.2.1.
                Please share procedure or any link to do it.

                  I purchased my xolo q3000 2 weeks back from flipkart. The phome came with KitKat update and the headphones are really good as opposed to what some sites HV said. The battery is reallyyyy good. I just want to know of some apps which could help me run it more smoothly. As the phone has not been preloaded with apps which is a good thing as sometimes we don't tend to iae them. Any advise for a good appss

Yes while playing very heavy graphic intensive game like Asphalt Airborne 8, Nova 3 it does experience lag when played at full graphics owing to its outdated underpowered GPU. but yes if you decrease the graphic resolution then it works fine. Internet using experience is pleasant as it has got a tremendous battery to support heavy internet usage by 3G.

                          Screen clarity is awesome and you will be amazed reading on webpages on its brilliant screen. and if you use 2G you expect it to last more then a day without charging. In this price range with this big screen its a definite buy phone.

                          If you are happy with HD screen of 5.5" and your budget is till 20000 then check out HTC Desire 816 as that"s a good phone too. I would suggest to stay away from Samsung and Sony Crap shits in the range between 15000 to 20000 rs. enjoy :)

Software evolution is a continous process so every company follows it including google. Every year new version of android is a live example to it. And regarding your bad experience with Xolo is just a matter of destiny. There are many happy customers of Xolo like me who have tried something different and found it really fruitful. Problems can occur in any device.

                            My frined"s Sony Xperia Z3 showed lots of issues and he feels cheated by sony as he invested 46000 rs for a phone which is having issues so early. So its just a matter of luck that some product turns good for one and bad for the other. Anyways you can still try lot more indian brands as all the phones are manufactured in china. but still if you are happy with low spec branded phones which are over priced then sure you can stick with samsung, HTC, LG, Sony or Moto series phones. Hope you have a better experience next time :)

                              I m using Xolo Q3000, and I loved the specifications. I am using this for almost a year.. and its functioning quiet perfectly without any issues. Just Awesome...
                              1. Battery Back up is really good.
                              2. Watching videos is awesome with good quality.
                              3. Gaming is also good.
                              Overall, Its a good phone to buy.

                                  Having used 2 Xolo phones in last 1 year and both giving some problem or the other, i will never risk buying another xolo any more.

GPU cannot be changed as it is fixed in mobile as per technical team plans and it will not be advisable to mingle with the internal aesthetics of a phone. KitKat version i believe should be stable by next year as the company will be working upon customer feedbacks. :)
