I updated the beta Kitkat update.. It was 296MB zip file and I copied it to SD card and then through Xolo care app upgraded the OS.. It took 40 min.. Below are the changes I am seeing now after upgrade..
1. Noticeable improvement in battery backup
2. Improvements in audio quality
3. Improvements in camera picture quality
4. Visual eye candy, transparent status bar, whitish theme all over, Roboto condensed font.
5. Complete new look for dialer
6. Stable and smooth operation
7. Other small enhancements..
But the live wallpapers option is missing after the upgrade and cannot apply any live wallpaper now.. Does anyone check this.. Please help me how to enable this

jazz, 14 Aug 2014Bro can u help me i m confuse in 6x nd q3000 pls help me broHello Bro. Xolo 6x is basically dedicated to gaming and Q3000 for rich entertainment experience. So you have to decide which is your priority like i wanted a full hd resolution brilliant massive screen and to do kind of GPU which Q3000 has. on the other hand 6X is dedicated to rich gaming experience but lacks on full hd screen part and its screen is 5" in size. so you have to decide what is your top most priority and then you will be able to go ahead and make a decision. No issue with beta kitkat update.
Phone is wotking well after updation.
Sensor problem is also resolved.

i got the device 4 days back with kitkat 4.4.2, the date format in the locker menu is not correct . instead of Aug its shows "Pmug".also it get automatically unlock if there is no signal.does anyone know how to correct his.

hey is the internal app memory only .98 gb..? cant it be extended..whats the point of giving 16 gb phone storage if the app memory is less than a gb ? how to run big games then? even if i move the apps in sd card some internal memory gets filled...what to do now? i cnt download more apps

Actually I am very fade up with screen black while calling and to cut/stop a call I have to switch on screen and then cut the call.In case it is resolved in this update then alright.Please guide how to install this update ? Found one bug the date format in the locker menu is not correct . instead of Aug its shows pmug. The printer option is added in setting. U can wait till final update got released.

looking toward the processor battery display specifications it really far far behind in sound as it sounds very low(ringing and audio video)

Hi All
I have updated to KitKat by downloading the file update. Zip from the site. Its working fine not found any issue. Only problem is application memory .98 GB.
