ajay, 07 Aug 2014Hi, I am planning to take XOLO Q3000, but before that plea... moreYes bro. the phone does gets heat up from the place where the camera grill lies. but i don't think it should bother much as its a huge screen phone and full hd video playing or graphic intensive games like Dead trigger 2 or Asphalt 8 does heat it up significantly. other then that its a pretty good phone and lots and lots of features it is packed with in a price which is totally worth. I know Xiaomi has created waves like never before by releasing MI 3. but it is in huge demand which the company can't fulfil. so if you want you can give Xiaomi MI 3 a try as it will soon be releasing again for purchase at Flipkart. People are booking it you can do it but there is a huge rush there. so you have to decide :)

Menu > People > Menu > Import/Export > Select From SD Card > Copy To Phone

I think if you have only facing locking the screen then use screen lock apps (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.iglint.android.screenlock&hl=en).
This helps to lock the screen.
If you facing the problem Power button hard key problem ( For disply on/off ) then you may better to visit Service Center.

I am using this phone for several months now, I think bought it in the month of Feb.overall the phone is as fantastic as it looks from the specs. The screen size, battery all are so amusing and pleasure. Dropped the phone many times but not much of damage. But there is no gps device installed so the phone uses the gprs antennas to give you location which is least reliable and never locks, this is the biggest drawback.3g speeds is awesome, you can use 3g on any of the sim.
Overall a good phone for the price

Kitkat update is given for low priced models.. But q3000 being the costliest is left behind... Totally disappointing...

First you need to root your phone. but if your phone has kitkat os you have to wait for more time as the software which easily roots jelly beans is not able to root kitkat. download VRoot software from blackmart as it is not available at playstore. then root your phone by VRoot and below i am giving you two video link of youtube which will show you the process of using ur SD card to store apps which can't be moved to sd card. eg :- whatsapp. Follow the video and u can easily make your sd card partition to link your softwares. :)
