Xolo Q700 Android 4.2.1 jelly bean smart phone quality is OK. But, i am disappointed with the battery. I have bought the the phone during August 2013 through indiatimes for Rs.8500/-. The battery life is only for 10 months and i had strictly using that phone only for calls that is also limited. So, my experience with xolo products, i am not satisfied with xolo phones because of poor life of batteries.

even my battery got bulged after 8 mnths use. I used a old battery of sony ericcson with padding.even nokia bl5c works. Now i got a xolo battery from service center for 550 bucks. i had to wait for 2weeks. its working fine at present.

touch screen needs more sensitivity, battery works not more than one year which is a big issue. and moreover battery is not available in market/ on online.

Usually the lithium ion battery has a life time of around 18 months. It will start to loose its efficiency right from the date it is manufactured.
So, if you buy a original battery that has been stored for more than one year, its life will be lesser than the half it is supposed to be.
The original xolo q700 battery obtained from the service center was not the newer one, as xolo stopped supplying battery for this model. What i got is stored battery. though its good and I could compare with nokia bl4c battery in my xolo q700 set and watched one 3 hour movie and browsed for around 90 minutes continously and the battery remained 50%.
The same performance i got from the original battery also.
Strictly speaking, nokia bl5c battery performance should be half that of the new (not stored for long time) original xolo battery.
I advice all to use this method, as you can get the original nokia battery from nokia service center (no chance of cheating) for just Rs.299/- maximum.
Dont run behind other online stores, where you will regret after buying.

Dear users,
As all of you, I too had bought xolo q700 last May 2013, and had been used it extensively.
Its such a superb phone and the only phone in the market with profile options.
I too had faced the battery bulging problem. I replaced the original battery obtained from the service center and is working fine.
Recently, I found that Nokia BL5C battery model can be well used in this model. but the size differs, I tried with placing the nokia battery with folded visiting card at the bottom.
The performance is better than the original battery i got from the service center.
Last month, I had ordered the xolo q700 battery from shopclue website and i got the duplicate battery which does not last even for 1 hour.
Friends, dont buy the xolo q700 battery online from any online shopping website. All are fake and duplicate.
Better use Nokia BL5C from Nokia service centre for less than Rs. 250/- and will work for nearly one year.
Only thing is you have to used some paper folded and fitted at the bottom of the battery for support.

Very nice related to functioning...but d main problem is wid battery worst performsnce in my circle we hav purchased 10 to 12 mobiles xolo q700 everybodies battery has started to bulge and when we go to c care they toldthat there is waiting for new battery and no other battery available for this model... third class phone dont ever buy...moreover display cracks on a small jerk 2 frnds expetienced it

Hi I am using xolo Q 700 and the battrey got buldge (swollen) within 7 months. This is manufacturers error they have to replace and redesign the battrey for this handset.
Please dont buy XOLO it is a humble request to all...instead of Xolo anyone can buy MOTO E....

darsh, 26 Jun 2014i love dis phone but i am trolled by battery...so much batt... moreI've my Xolo Q700 for over an year and have been using my old Samsung charger right from day one. No battery issues till date. So even you can go for a Samsung charger.

Hi, I was also fooled by all the online batteries, but finally bought this from eBay and it is good..using it for WiFi download for the past half an hour and battery went down only by 4 percent. Hope it will last at least 7-8 hrs..

Hi All,
Dont go for any battery available online, all are fake 100/- stuff being sold for 500-900/- and you'll regrett you bought one. If you are not able to run your phone on original battery, use Nokia original BL5C 1020mAH battery, will perform double the ones available online for just 250-300/-. You'll need to fill empty space with thick cardboard so that battery remains in place.

i love dis phone but i am trolled by battery...so much battery issues.....seriously am not gettin original xolo charger...u cant use any other charger for dis phone..... pls help me....xolo company pls try to available charger as soon as possible!
