official update for xolo q800 will be coming at december 1st so dont worry guys..but the bad news is android 4.2.1 only

guys i am thinking to buy this phone am not a hardcore gamer but i use 2g internet alot (5-6hr per day) phn calls 2-3 hrs does the battery lasts fr a day? is CAMERA clariy good? pls mail me ur reply @ mouli138@gmail.com

Brand is brand(Nokia,Sony )....Chinese cheap items are really cheap. Why ?
Most of you guys know ,the phone can accidently drop from your hand ,bed or table sometimes,whatever care you give. Afterall it is a 'mobile' phone . If it is a rebrand item like micro max ,xolo etc there is 90%chance that it will get some sort of damage (screen ,sim tray ,camera etc )for sure. At this point your are stuck. You will go to the so called 'service centres'. But you will find that they are just collection points. And the service technicians are not properly trained ,and even they don't have spare parts. So you have months and months of mental harassment. If you are lucky, you will get it repaired.
And yes, you can go for chinese brands if you are enough rich or you are okay with spending 10k to 20k every six months.
Another problem is that you have all specs go chinese phones but they are not of proper quality. Like you can have the features like gps, but it is not of proper quality. you have music but it is not properly engineered ,it is just 'sound'.
But in a properly engineered brand,you have all what it has,evenif it is less in specs.
Ok we all are indians going for these cheap rebranded items ,what is most important is the peace of mind . While going with a branded item,the best specification you get is the peace of mind. You have to pay a few more bucks for that but it worth it.
For a branded item,you have to pay a little more why ?Right from the development and to the end user ,they have some responsibility. They have to pay for their trained staffs all over the country ,they have expenses to supply original parts all over the country at the right time. So you are paying for your own dignity ,mental peace and safety and it is the real value for money.

anubhav, 23 Nov 2013dont go for second hand you can get a new one on flipkart a... moreDo u know about xda devolper, they devolep a rom for xolo q800 4.2, and also for the other clones of xolo q800, like fly mobiles IQ 446, gionee gn 708w, simphony w125, dont remember properly and also one more company own that device ALL VIEW........
Mean to say that this china mobile is superhit it has more features and allmost no problam device, it has more then 5 clones in the all over asia

never ever think to buy xolo 700 or its series.service is very bad,first day of purchase it starts giving me the problem of camera not working.pls its a request to all buy a standard company mobile,no Chinese pls

Bad news for xolo q800 lovers, the xolo has been closed its manufacturing, to increace the sale of q700i and q800 x and some more models of xolo, but I need that mobile for the features it has, so I am going to by this at olx.in in 8000, three month used and still in good condition, can any one suggest me should i buy or not, i also want to to know that how can i upgrade xolo q800 to 4.2 or more, please reply me, sorry for my english.

I am using xolo Q800 and also my frnd using Q600...
Configuration is pretty good but friends think twice before buy..these phones are cheap compare to nokia and samsung but in terms of service and quality really it is fail..My q800 was giving network problem and finally it damages my sim also..Moreover when i go to service center after waiting period of 2 hours i came to know that these are only collection centers..i have to call them after 1 month for my phone repairing status .it is minimum time these companies took for phone repairing..So disgusting.now for 1 month do i should buy another smartphone to work...also people looking for sound quality should not buy it.audio quality is poor and speaker sound is low by default also voice quality while making calls is poor..After Sale service is 1 out of 10.i make this comment on the basis of around 5 xolo phones in my circle..i had also nokia C7 and when i need the service for that i got it within 3 days..Thats what we call company standards...Really chinese is chinese.....
