Xperia X Performance receiving update that fixes accelerometer issue
An issue that has been affecting some users with the Xperia X Performance has been addressed by Sony and a fix is being rolled out now via OTA update. The issue was with the accelerometer that detects the phone’s orientation.
This sensor would simply stop working and the phone would be unable to detect when the user was changing its position. Until now, users have been having to work around this by manually restarting the phone, which would fix the issue at least temporarily.
Sony first addressed the issue a couple of weeks ago once it had managed to replicate the problem.
The OTA fix is coming to the dualSIM variant (F8132) as well as the singleSIM (F8131) models of the phone. Have you been affected by this issue? Let us know!
