You can now watch Facebook videos on the big screen through Chromecast or Apple TV

This is clearly one of those "better late than never" things. Do you have a Chromecast, or another Google Cast enabled device (like an Android TV, for example), or an Apple TV? Do you use Facebook (who doesn't?) and wish there was an easy way to see those videos popping up in your News Feed on your TV?

Well, there's finally a solution. Facebook is adding support for the Google Cast protocol as well as Apple's AirPlay. This is already live in the social network's iOS app as well as on its website. You'll soon be able to cast videos to your Chromecast from the Facebook for Android app too.

The "how" is as easy as you'd expect. When you come across a video you want to see on the big screen, just tap or click on the TV icon in the top right corner. You then select the device you want to stream to, and voila! The video shows up on your TV.

And while you're watching, you can go back and scroll through the News Feed on the device you're streaming from. Who knows, maybe you'll find the next video to cast to your big screen. If you're streaming a Facebook Live video on your TV, you can see the real-time reactions and comments on the screen.
