Dont waste your money. I bought this fone Front camera is worst, bug in photo editing options, slow camera reaction. Both snapdeal and Micromax service center denied service.

I bought yu yunique on 23september,it is delivered at 4october..very good smart phone but the battery is bad..i used 3g with normal brightness,it last for only 3_4 hours.good processor,normal camera,fast internet,little heat problem while charging,smart look.all average it is good.but it will nit satisfy my need

Ordered fone on 22-9 sale got it on 24 itself.
Fone working just well people complaining an telling not to buy yunique may just no be happy with YU or do not like to take new brands.
Yunique provides best camera quality by 8MP 2MP and also for videos.
Battery lasts than a day.
Those complaining about headphones YU is giving a headphone is most important here aa now a days u donot get headphones with any other brand and if u get those are not in ears.
Sound quality of both headphones and speaker is good.
I donot see any thing wrong with stock android as it provides 1st hand experience and also saves a lot of RAM.
Overall @ 5K YU Yunique is best to buy and anyone planning to buy a mobile upto 8K may be save the rest 3K and do some thing useful with it.

I had faced same issue with snap deal regarding my mobile issue. I had given at service center without any option & they confirmed the same what I told to snap deal.
Now I am waiting for next plan of action on my replacement of device from Snap deal.

The phone is good wen u see d specs. But very poor performance wen u start using. Can't even find this device in Snapdragon's site. So poor reception of mobile even in 2G mode and in 3G mode. When I goes indoor der won't b any signal. Camera gets lag wen u click continuous short especially d front camera. Sometimes it gets restarted by itself and won't detect sd card. I'm using 32GB class 10 card. Snapdeal z me to visit customer care and to produce d job sheet. Now regretting for buying this phone.

I bought it from 29/09 sale. My earphones are duplicate there is no brand name mentioned on it. When i plug in earphones, it starts misbehaving like songs automatically starts, stops and changes Google now automatically starts.i am also having performance issues like my whatsapp msz are received only when i open whatsapp i hvnt started restricted background data. I tried to replace it but snapdeal denied to replace it they said that I have to go on service centre, only after receiving job seat they will replace it.

Hey.
.problem with camera sound. I tried everything..
Slient mode,volume down..but no solution . nd there is no option to turn off camera sound. So i use other camera app..like..mx camera etc.. but in other camera apps autofocus time prblm and image,video quality also not good as its built in camera app. :-(
So anyone plz tell me..how to turn off camera sound??? Or may any other camera app like its inbuilt camera app.?????
Sometimes i want to capture natural moments of my loved ones..and then comes camera sound/shutter sound nd natural moments turns into photography moments...
So is there any solution of it??

i compare the YU yunique, Mi redmi 2, Micromax canvas spark and Infocus M2
and with the best of my knowledge i found:
this phone (YU yunique) is good performance wise (rating 9/10)
has a good look (10/10)
camera quality is just fine (7/10)
camera does a good job in low light with HDR mode
battery backup is average (8/10)
sound quality is good and with headphone its just fine (8/10)
sound quality while calling is loud and clear
viewing angle are not tht good (7/10)
best thing is; u don't need to Switch off or restart when u insert a sim or sd card

I agreed with your comments related to phone heating/radiation & also with charging time. I am facing the same issue heating while taking/speaking the call and can't continue the call for more that 2 min.Now the phone is lying in Micromax service centre & Yu care team saying that my issue can be fixed by flashing the OS . Unfortunately service centre(Micromax care ) people doesn't have software & it will take 2 days to get the same.
Now I am not understanding that what type of support model they are following to support the device. For software update only they are taking 2 days & if hardware issue occur then how the tings move(imagine).

Audio and video quality is good. No lagging. Yu yunique overall performance is super....

Yu Yunique is really a value for money.
Using this phone since 3 days. it has only problem with Battery but all the android phone suffers with battery.
It's hard to believe that it uses superior specs compared to Moto G 2nd gen but it's price is half of it.
Call quality is very good. Speaker is not that loud but okay and Camera is also decent in sunlight.
Yu finally has done a good job with Stock android.
No such heating issue as of now.
After installing FB, FB msnger, whatsapp, Flipkart,Snapdeal,Amazon and Hike the device has still 350 MB of RAM free. that 350 MB RAM can handle moderate games but games like NOVA 3 will surely struggle and I don't expect a 5K phone would run Nova 3.
Hats off to Yu and hoping they will release better phones with good camera and better battery in affordable price.

Not by system os or apps, If you use Games and Android browser that can heat up the device. I'm using UC Browser fast and no heating issue.

I was complaint about the all software problems on this phone and they give me many suggestions but they can't work. after that they tell me that they have release an update very soon for this phone to solve out all the software problems.. let's wait for software update..
