Simple thing is that u cannot compare a 9k phone with iphone(60k+) You are saying that phone cost rs11k.. You dnt even know the price and u r writing a review here.. Level of haters! You dnt like it? Dont buy it.. You have the money so go for other high end devices. Make use of ur tym instead of wasting it here..

this is a budget phone, aiming on people with low budget. The things you mentioned in your comment, obviously cannot be packed in to a 10K phone.
YU is good, it will make its user happy, i repeat, the user with low budget. People who can spend 40K-50K will not buy this, why will go for Nokia 930 (or may be roumrded 1030), Iphone 6, HTC M8 or so..

Hi YU team
I am using YUREKA since 2nd Feb 2015.
Please do something for media server issue on YUREKA phones.
What:-
Even If a single (or multiple) media file(s) are copied to memory (either internal or external) sized over 1.0 GB, then

this blunder issue comes into existence.

Problems:-
1. Media Server (App name : MediaStorage) start eating phones h/w.
2. CPU overheat.
3. Battery consumption like anything ( 95% charged battery remains only 40% in 2-hrs), even sceen off, DATA, GPS and all

other services turned off , no game data working in background.

I have done lot of R n D's, & then I found these-
Temporary Solution:-
1. Delete those HD videos (movies) sized over 1 GB.
or,
2. Force stop mediastorage in Apps, but this removes Ringtone of my phone, all songs disappears from my music player,

videos not shown in video player.

I have used 3 brands (Sony, Samsung, Motorola) and have knowledge over almost all brand (lava, Micromax, karbonn) but I

never found this issue, anywhere.

Please get this issue resolved as soon as possible.

Earphone sound output is awesome but while talking others using earphn others say that our voive is not clear to them.. So its just a satisfactory phone not upto mark.

Camera: if you zoom the camera, the pic quality is bad.
Internet connectivity: if you turn on mobile data (not WiFi or hotspot), and go on google page...it is not connect and msg show unable to connect the porxy serve so there is some issue with internet connectivity with mobile data.
Back light: if you received a call and when you want to disconnect the call the black light (screen light) is not on even you press the power buttun. I faced this problem 2 times out of 10 times.
Sound issue: sound is Comparatively very very low.
Customer care service: very bad because there is no customer service in any city and micromax is not responsible for any kind of problem.

I have been using this Phone sine one month and no doubt it is awesome phone with unbeatable features. It is ridiculous that voting results shows here 7.5 but in my opinion it should be 9.0
With same great features other so-called branded phones are selling more higher prices i.e. Rs.20,000 or more. Yes, they increased their prices for advertisements only. Also some touts of other so-called branded phones are blaming here.
But really it is a great phone and 64 bit Lolipop will roll out within one month for this phone. Multi-tasking is smooth. Phone is very fast, camera is great. Anybody can buy this phone without hesitation and save more than Rs.10,000 without falling in the trap of other branded phones with similar configuaration.

why people are wasting there 11000/- on this phone? its a micromax product .Why micromax launched as YU brand because of there after sale service is too bad. Micromax just assembles china products and re-brand as micromax (this one as YU) thats why most of its products becomes faulty.
......Dont go on its HIGH specification, "ye hai woh hai" .. first think what u exactly need.
MObiles basic need are firstly is Battery Backup ,Build Quality,Warranty and After sales Service.
If these are Best then you think next. Today there are lots brands and feature phones in low budget.So everyone trying to impress customers by there "VALUE FOR MONEY" offer. IS it really value for money? Think ..before don't go blindly.
When i Google this i saw that in news over 30000 pieces sold in 4 seconds. How ? Is it really? Don't be fool. Its marketing strategy too make room in market share.
OK you would say.whatever I want it!!! Then just think these points before buying any mobile.
1.First Look for Brand ,warranty ,After sale service.,Battery ,Build quality,Calling Quality

2.Think what you exactly need from ur fone
....1.Good Camera?
....2.Music?
....3.Gaming
....4.Entertainment(movies)
....5.Internet 2G,3G,4G
....6.os android,Bada,windows
And Google it respectively e.g"(Type ur brand name choice)Good Mobile for Gaming under 10000/-"...

3.Who is the user? ex.student,professional,parents ,children.

4.Once u bought how much time u are going to use it e.g. 1 year,2 year or asper u.

5.Read the more user reviews

These points will going to decide the concept of "Value For money".
Because not every phone is perfect in all features .
that means ur buying a mobile for camera then it would be low in Camera department. this mobile is with 13MP ?? waw....!!! u are getting 13MP in just 11000/- sounds good . but did u think that apples top end model iphone 6 has 8Mp camera priced over 60000/- why????
because 8MP camera is much more grate than this 13MP.
apples product are perfect product in every department that's why they cost high. and everyone's dream to get it in hand.
These companies are trying to catch customers mentality to become iphone user.
---> This phone has great H/w,S/w configuration which is now known as BENCHMARK higher benchmark greater Phone!!...Is it really that makes it greater? great h/w but phone get hot during gaming or apps(using that H/W)is it good?then what are u buying for?

---> if u are buying this for gaming.did u think what would be effect on its battery backup? heating ?
and ur body. heating battery may damage u physically.

--->if u r buying for music. did u checked its listening quality, headphones ,memory card support ,memory size.

--->if u r buying for internet, did u check its download upload speed, and the technology 2g,3g,4g..
are u a 3g ,4g user ?how much data u use montly,what is the net plan ..did u calculate?

4G,??? 4g is it available in ur area ?how much time it will take to establish. Did u really need that much speed 100mbps too inaugurate ur new cyber cafe outside raod.
More speed more downloading more money...!! 4G is available in few cities of India.
As per the budget 2015 tax increased to 14 from 12.5 that means ur even 2G net pack is going rise its cost.are u going to use 4G ,3G then.

---> Display size?? 5 inch?? is it feet in ur hand perfectly, it is comfortable

--->13 MP .did u check its quality.compared it with other 13MP fone??Everyone expecting good camera phone. if mobile cumming with good camera then why would digital cameras are there?

--->OS??Android lollipop,kitkat,windows. does it really matter to ur basic use. yes there is huge app support for android and Ios than any other. but its version really that imp u?.whatsapp runs even on android 4.0 and windows fone. so really os is imp factor for u. apps are for every versions they update for every os.

In 10000/- u are getting what u r expecting and with basic need ??then u r investing ur money in right place.

Just think all the above points.then Buy your smartphone..
