I don't know why other people are having "Battery issues", saying it doesn't last even a day. My Yureka Plus is lasting nearly one and a half day with normal usage.

SachinKumar, 25 Sep 2015I have purchased it last week and fed up with lots of issu... moreDude if you are having battery issues, its a software problem i.e. your phone does't go to sleep when screen is off. Try resetting it, I did, and now its fixed. If you have heat issues, refer the YU forums, there they already given many fixes.

Please note it is based on a custom ROM named "CyanogenMod", since it is a custom ROM, where the developers have tried hard to get most features to the phone which are not natively supported by Android Environment. So, bugs will be there.
So if you get your phone heated up, try to control the processor, rather posting "returned it because its heating". This is why the phone has the tag #Rooting will not void the warranty.
I have already rooted and fixed up heating and battery issues. Playing MC5 currently.. :)

I have been using this phone since April, 2015 and believe me you wont get an awesome powerful phone like this one at this price. The only problem is battery, it hardly lasts 10-12 hours. Unlike others it never lags no matter how many applications you have installed. I have installed 65 apps other than system apps on this phone and its still smooth in working.
Thanks to YU for making such an awesome product, the only complaint is of Battery. Please put some good quality batteries in upcoming phones or increase their mAh, may be 4000 mAh would be good for this phone.

I bought the phone as well from Amazon.in and it is a super phone. Was easily able to root and install Cyanogenmod Nightly with 5.1.1. Battery is not upto mark - only lasts 16-18 hrs with normal usage (2 hrs of gameplay + 2 hrs of internet whats app and youtube ).
Display is good, Storage is good. But the phone doesnt have thee same smoothness as my previous phone (Nexus 4 with Cyanogenmod 12.1). Altough the specs on paper are better in Yuphoria plus, it struggled on some games while nexus 4 was very smooth.
GPS is perfect and while driving it provided perfect real time updates.

I Bought YU YUREKA PLUS from AMAZON.IN,The mobile heats up,and the display is brokened because of heating,i used only whatsapp with my wifi aslo phone is heating,after a time i cant see the display i saw when the heat comes out the display is brokened,i maintained this phone like fresh,the yureka plus price is 8999,the display price is 2999,if any other complaint whats the price next,XXXXXXX/-
The Quality of the production is very low than chinese brands......also please upgrade your service support
