ZTE Axon M (Z999) passes through Wi-Fi Alliance

After clearing the FCC, the upcoming ZTE Axon M (Z999) has just been certified by the Wi-Fi alliance. Sadly the only thing we've learnt from the certification is that the phone is edging closer, that it supports dual-band Wi-Fi and that it runs Android 7.1.2 Nougat - not Oreo.

The ZTE Axon M - M likely standing for Multi - will feature a foldable design with two screens that unfold to make one huge display.

The ZTE Axon M could house a Snapdragon 821 chipset with 4GB of RAM, according to a Geekbench leak.

We expect it to arrive sometime this month (October 17, tomorrow, if latest reports are to believed) and that it will be exclusive to AT&T.

"Foldable display's" = could be 2 separate displays you can fold to smaller form. "Flexible display's"= 1 display that can be folded to a smaller form. The difference is still there but I get your point.

That's not foldable! Is only 2 displays with a hinge between them, like a clampshell with 2 displays. Foldable is a only 1 display that really fold like paper. What a foolish way to lie consumers XD.
