Anonymous, 28 Feb 2013Why you need to root? and what is root? rooting is "taking control of the phone", wherein you can access the system/files and modify it.
phone is loaded with lots of unnecessary apps that is eating the internal memory. we need root permissions to uninstall those apps and free up more space for our personal applications..

Ra, 28 Feb 2013How long does this phone last for normal usage? For playing... morenormal usage (call and text) is 2 days or more, with minor gaming. not sure about internet and pure music playing.

hopefully someone will be able to pull out the files from there so i can give rooting a try.

1. Install/Boot thru CWM Recovery.
2. Flash update thru CWM Recovery.
the only problem you will have is extracting the needed files from that forum.
