McNe, 07 Feb 2013was this verified? or can you please provide me a link i ca... morei just read it in cherry mobile flare group. i have cm flare also and i installes go sms pro, same problem, no option for sim 2. someone posted that it is not supported in qualcomm devices. i did not believe on it, i thought it is just a phone problem since the phone has certain bugs. then i've got this zte v790 frim globe and that was the very first app i installed, and dammmnnnnn, no sim 2 option. >_< zte is a nice brand and so, my confusion was solved. go sms pro is not compatible in qualcomm. >_<

and one more thing.,., the phone cannot be root.,
i dont know why but i want to root it . , , with 2 reason.,
1st is to install costom roms.,
2nd rooted apps such as (setCpu)
3rd bloatware (background process)
then. as i use this phone for a while i dont need to root this phone.,.,,., with 3 reason
1st. this is already an ICS
2nd setCpu well 1ghz is enough and overclocking it may cause battery drain. though i want to try it but.,.,i gues i cant..
3rd bloatware., for saving battery.,, the cool thing for this phone is that. in task manager you can disable bloatware XD i know i know i was shocked too i was disable some background processes and bloatware .,
before i got 190-200mb ram
and now i got 250mb - 270mbram cool.

Rara, 11 Feb 2013Hows the music playing time of this phone? How long it last... moreBrowsing is fast, considering that it has Google chrome installed by default. Speed would still matter on your signal strength. If you want it fast, make sure that the internet speed is fast also and signal strength must be strong at the same time.
Battery wise since it has 1200 maH for the battery, it's not that long but it does reach up to 4 or 5hrs str8 browsing or more sometimes :)
Hopefully they would sell a battery for this at 1500mah.. ^_^

Never had a problem with it and its true that it does take time before it starts heating up. Well, what do we expect, it's a phone and not a desktop or any laptop that has a built-in cooling fan ^_^.
Well ,I just have a question for the other users like me.
Have you experienced any white screen from it like after u try to unlock it? I've experienced it 3x already and my work-around in fixing it is by locking it back and unlocking it again. I'm not really sure what caused it.
And with lag, well it does lag with me when I'm playing and a new message comes up. lol
Response wise, it's nice and you do't really have to put a lot of effort to press it. I'm just wondering why sometimes when playing temple run 2, sometimes it doesn't respond correctly with the right direction of touch.. lol

nhell, 09 Feb 2013i have this phone and if im gonna rate it.,, its just 7/10.... morelol. if you had been using android phones for gaming purposes, you will know that most android phones heat up when playing games and most android phones don't last for 5 hours on games. i have an alcatel with 1500mAh battery which only lasts for 2 hours on hard gaming. also, phone lasts for almost 2-3 days with normal use.
good thing with v790 is that it doesn't heat up that fast. and i believe the phone is more durable compared to other android phones i currently have. the build speaks for itself.
one thing, v790 catches signals on places where other android phones are dead (no signal). no other branded phones (within its price range) can compete with v790 when it comes to specs and performance.

Like what most said it's just the battery life.... BUT at it's price? I think you get more than what you paid with this phone. Does anyone can tell me any phone with all of this spec at 4.5k? (with brands similar to zte, fyi:) zte is the 4th largest phone manufacturer in the world)

i have this phone and if im gonna rate it.,, its just 7/10...
PROS:
+320x480 is good enough.
+3.5 inch screen is an average size for touchscreen phones
+1ghz single core - gaming doesnt have lag
+512 ram - for smooth widget and running application
+dual sim - cool....
+ android ics - awesome... got a lot of apps and games to download
+cheapest phone with good specification..
Cons
- battery doesnt last long....it will be perfect if this phone got 1,500mah.
- battery is warming as you play hardcore games...
- doesnt feel durable...
- 3mp doesnt have flash...
- games are battery hog for this phone..

as i experience using this phone..i was satisfied for every day use... texting a lot and i use both sim.
playing games.and run smooth as the expected specs were given
i never experience any lag or hang
..had stock browser + built in browser (chrome) which is both gives me browsing with ease .. but chrome is much better.
it can slip in your hands because the back cover is just smooth plastic.
touch sensitivity gives a quite responsive
i dont recommend this phone but regarding to its specs. im satisfied with it

hi guys!!..can anyone tell me how to save a video from a file in the computer??..i can't copy it from my video files to my v790..i tired several times convert the video, but still it says like this " The file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel." hope you guys will help me with this.. thanks!! :)

Dada, 08 Feb 2013Then the sim used is always be what sim? Sim1? And also for... morenope. you can select which sim to use with the default sms/messaging app (pre-installed). i was saying that we can't do it with Go SMS.
we don't have that option with enabling data though.

If we cant assign the sim for txtng brwsing ietc then it's like the 2nd sim is only use for rcvng txt. Toinx!

if you notice, you can't assign which sim to enable mobile data (unlike other dual sim phones). - i have an alcatel 918N where there is an option to which sim i'm enabling data connectivity.
still waiting for rooting procedure and developments for this phone though.

Did you... moreno, i don't have a credit card, i used my debit card, visa card to be exact. mastercard i think is also accepted. it is free delivery, however, when you claim your parcel in the post office, you need to pay 40 pesos to them.
