APTX Lossless Bluetooth codec, DAC for 3.5mm jacks?
Sadly Samsung will never use APTX Lossless.
And their new JBL speakers have LE Audio aka LC3 Bluetooth codec, but Samsung phones don't support LC3 Bluetooth codec.

It's a terrible phone. Don't buy it, don't make the same mistake! As a music phone ist totally bad. Speakers make strange sounds and are not 600x louder then my S24 Ultra. They might be 1,5 Lauder but quality of music from Nubia Music's speaker ist absolutely terrible so you can not listen music with this phone. Headphones (2 pairs included in box) does not give good quality of music as well. I testet my galaxy buds with Nubia Music and the sound was terrible in compare of the saund of buds when they are connected with my S24 Ultra. As a phone it is terrible as well because you need to wait second after kicking anything on display the next window to be opened - phone is very slowly. I bought it for 140€ from Spain and I can't sell it for 100€ - no interest on second market. I am so disappointed, I thought the phone would give me high quality music with that speaker.

Has 2 audio jacks, for unknown reason. Audiophiles won't be buying this for sure. And i think it is probably, they are putting the extra audio jack from what they omitted from Redmagic. wakkakaka. But I am interested in buying this because of how it looks. Bluetooth sound quality will be crap, most of the chipsets made by Unisoc has shitty audio quality. Using a ZTE Blade as a 2nd phone and have a Nokia on Unisoc as well, SQ is poop. What more calling a phone, a music phone; its a stretch... But will buy it by the way it looks!

For real Nubia you are making GREAT interesting phones with shitty hardware 😂 this phone could be great with a decent Processor and better screen. The BIG speakersare something only Asus RoG phones had in the past and they're GREAT for listening to media and playing games.

Never has been in my case. If anything, my dedicated DAC player is dusting in the drawer. Here's a tip: MP3 won't work, go for FLAC or WAV to get the full effect.

The Sabre dacs in the LG phones were incredibly mediocre and poor sounding so I have no idea why you would want to put the same in this underpowered phone. My goodness so many self-proclaimed "audiophiles" spew out the most obnoxious BS and obsess over the same parroted talking points over and over again.

this... this is definitely something. I like the idea of having multiple jacks, but it looks more like a concept than something to be produced for sale.

Put it this way: Why would Sony put it back on the 2020 Xperia 1 Mk2 when they could've easily continue selling phones without it as they did with the 2018 and 2019 flagships? After all, they also make their own wireless earbuds. In the end, common sense always going to win the day.

Not sure about the SoC choice, but the dual 3.5mm audio jack totally piques my interest. While most smartphone OEMs remove it because of wireless earbuds, ZTE gone nuts by putting two of them. If this phone has a better SoC and a dedicated ESS Saber DAC built in, this would easily be my favourite entry-level smartphone of 2024.

By this time I would think it's more trouble for a foundry to dust up a 28 nm process, i.e. these chips must be surplus from years back. How to make $ out of surplus chips? You turn them into niche products. All in all not a bad idea
