Its a gaming phone. Storage is pretty important, especially when game nowadays can get up to 6 gb of storage (Looking at genshin impact)

You have control if you want them off / on and for charging you can also specify 'quiet' hours for example if charging overnight.
I find the fans to be effective! Without the fan the phone gets about regular level warm (similar to my LG Q Stylus +), with the fan it's definitely a few degrees cooler / to the touch.

Just noticed that the official photos are deceptive, the bezels have white "highlights" at the edges, making them look thinner than they really are.
