I'd get it but the Red Magic 5/5s' abysmal global software and lack of 5G bands was a turn-off for me. Hopefully they fix it them both this time around (in like 2 weeks, the global variant will be announced with the Pro on April 4th) but I won't hold my breath.

    International software support will drop off pretty soon.

    Both RM3 and RM5 devices have been left behind on international rom support.

    RM 3 global is still on Android 9. China have Android 11
    RM5 global is still on Android 10, china is on android 11

    The RM 5 in china has recieved at least 2 official rom updates in the Android 11 rom since November last year.

    Were since november last year global RM5 series devices are still on Android 10.

    Without international software support, phones like this have great hardware. But if bought, dont expect to get rom updates outside of the china region.

      Between this RM6 variant and the RM6 Pro variant, it would be an easy pick for me with this one. Honestly speaking, 66W is way more than enough for me. I see no need to go super fast with 120W when it produces way more heat and degrade the battery even faster. Plus, this one has a much bigger battery. Also, 16GB and 18GB of RAM are way too overkill. 12GB RAM is way more than sufficient.

      P.S Looking at the dimension of this phone, LG V60 owners will definitely feel at home with it.
