ZTE nubia Z40 Pro to arrive with Sony IMX787 sensor in February
Nubia just teased its upcoming Z40 Pro flagship phone on Weibo saying that it's going to be the first phone with a custom 35mm lens paired with Sony's IMX787 sensor. We haven't seen 35mm lenses for main cameras in a while so this sounds rather interesting.
In addition, the teaser confirms a large f/1.6 aperture, OIS and what appears to be omni-directional autofocus. Don't quote us on that one, though, as the machine-translated text is rough around the edges.
The teaser then goes on about an aerospace-grade heat dissipation system using new materials that should keep the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 cool enough.

35mm on a phone and 35mm on a dslr aren't the same, they use different crop factor. And, most importantly, I really need a wider FoV, minimum 24mm. Doesn't matter what you experienced, I'm writing on behalf of myself, my preference.
