It's metallic.If you bother to look at renders or actual images of this phone you'll see there's absolutely no antenna line on the middle frame which is required for phones with metal frames to have signal reception. Plus plenty of reviewers in China have already stated the middle frame is made out of plastic.

                hi, is there possibility that Nubia (ZTE) will apply region lock (network 5g band or all network cannot be use beside in china) so their china origin phone cannot be sell and use in other country ? i read realme / xiaomi / oppo / oneplus already did in some model . anyone have experience about region lock ? or oppion about this ? i don't want waste 700usd+ in phone that i cannot use in the future.

                anyone know what maximum resolution for video out in zte z50 ?

Battery life is sub par. Signal issues, wifi connection latency issues while gaming etc. Surprised moto is still alive.

                            Got the phone 3 weeks ago. I am in love with it. Buttery smooth. It is China ROM but it also has google. It is one of the affordable SD 8 Gen 2. I got the 12/512GB black. The 35mm camera is amazing. No issues so far. It is now one of my daily carries.
