How are the bezels on the phone. I'm currently using the Axon 40 Ultra, and these bezels are just about non-existent. I realize the screen is flat and not curved, which makes the bezels more noticeable... but are they 'really' as small as shown in the images?

Been using this phone for 2 weeks now (in Finland) and I can confirm that Android Auto is only thing that does not work. Banking apps, Google Pay, Google Play Services, they all work. After uninstalling all the bloatware, only 8 system apps remains and no ads anywhere.
There is some tweaking with notifications for some apps but the batterylife is good. Cycle after cycle I get 2 full days with 7-9 hours of SOT when the low 20% warning strikes. And from that 20% it takes 25min to 100% with the original charger. Not quite sure what type of charging it is using bc my Samsung 25w car charger works faster than my 65w PD wall prick 🤷
Size is massive and robust. Screen is good quality, not the best. It gets bright enough though. Some quality issues when in minimal brightness but just minor things (uneven panel, 120hz to 60hz gives a slight tone difference etc.). I still enjoy this screen very much, gaming is enjoyable and watching 21:9 content is satisfying bc no holes!
But the cameras are the best part I think. The 35mm main cam is my favorite by far. Excellent portrait shots without the portrait mode. I was skeptical about the processing but ZTE proved me wrong. Pictures are quite natural and nothing like Samsungs mess (I hate taking photos with my s23+ after this). Camera app software is a mess though, millions and millions of choices 😂
And thank you for that Niagara tip to change the launcher! Gonna try that first thing tomorrow.
Overall, pretty great phone even outside China.

As I told before. "There is a workaround, if you want to add Nova Launcher, you have to use Niagara launcher. Download the Niagara launcher and use their settings to select the default launcher, there is a small box where you can select Nova."

Wow, I'm typing this with my Nubia z50 ultra. This phone is so good! It can install Google Play, my bank app of choice and doesn't heat that much when I play games. If you worried about the battery when you're gaming, just activate Bypass Charging. It can activate all games and even casual apps unlike some phones out there who has this feature (I'm looking at you Lenovo Legion!). The Display is great as well.
The under display camera is still need some work though but the back cameras are great. I also don't like the default keyboard on this phone but that that can be solve easily by just download a Gboard. No ip67 is a bummer. This is not problem for me though but I understand that some people need it in their phone. Also ZTE is giving this phone some system updates every week. I hope they will keep the android support for more than 3 years. MyOS is not that bad. It's like a minimal version of MIUI OS but unlike MIUI, this phone has no ads and bloat apps has an option to delete.
Overall, I'm very satisfied. It's not S23 but for that price, it's worth it!

I've got nova installed and there is no option at all in menus to change it. In default home app the only option that ever shows is system launcher. I'm in the UK and everything works fine, bands, play store, banking apps etc.

As I know most of phone with Chinese version doesn't support with google service.
