ZTE nubia Z50 Ultra passes through Geekbench ahead of launch

The ZTE nubia Z50 Ultra is all set to launch on March 7 in China, so its Geekbench scorecard by isn't a big surprise. A handset with model number NX712J, which is supposedly the Z50 Ultra, posted an impressive Geekbench 5 score.

The device scored 5121 points in the multi-core test and 1494 in the single-core trial and both results are in line with other Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 devices we've tested. The good Geekbench scores also suggest that the device is out of the testing stage and it's ready to launch. Early engineering samples tend to underperform. Other than the chipset, the Geekbnech listing reveals very little. We know that the device will be running the latest Android 13 out of the box and it's only natural for a flagship model to have a version with 12GB of RAM.

Previous rumors and teasers suggest that the handset will also boast an impressive camera setup, an under-display selfie camera and flat frame with a dedicated alert slider next to the power button.

Finally no need of dark wallpapers or angled photos or just showing the back to hide the punch hole...Sony, Asus and ZTE are the only ones actually achieving this (former two with a thin bezel-why not?) to house or hide the selfie
