then try running apps that keep crashing / memory leak, and see if it can run smoothly in the phone

hardware cant do anything for the apps/software that is crashing itself
or those software that hogging processing resources, heat up, draining battery
same to memory-leak, it will take all memory down until everything lagging out
why do you think latest best hardware will automatically fix those problem ?

thats why software update matters, alot in some cases
software that have good optimization will run efficient and smooth even without latest hi-end hardware

    Its great its got an ultrawide, BUT will it produce Ultrawide panoramas? With its OIS that could really produce very nice results, especially if you can use the 50MP mode, because they then would be BIG!
    If you can accept 12+MP photographs as big enough, with the 18mm panorama option WORKING in addition, this would then become THE phone to buy. I would buy one IF it does ultrawide panoramas....NONE of the recent phones since quad-bayer appear to be able to at all, but I could be wrong.

Plus, this Z60 Ultra ain't even the best camera phone out there. Actually, there are many more better phones with better hardware, like OnePlus 12, vivo X100 Pro, Oppo Find X6, etc. Also, ZTE'S image processing isn't very advanced

          from reviews & comparisons i read & watched , rear Cameras are better than competitors such as iqoo or oneplus or realme except Maybe vivo x100pro which is 25% more pricey but in battery life , nubia z60u with it's "silicon negative carbon" 6000mah battery outperforms others except it's sibling redmagic pro 6500mah. display is good with enough features and 600-1500 nits brightness. hopefully optimization or upsampling for faces output via AI in selfie will improve in coming updates as it will get at least 2 android versions update a well. speaker clarity should also get improvement .
          all being said, hopefully nubia will release a 6500mah 160W phone in 2024 with triple 1 inch sensors , all OIS & 4k 120fps capable with much better selfie sensor on z60s pro plus 4K EIS and also like redmagic series, bring back 3.5 jack please that would floor the competition

            love the unique design and specs except for the front facing cam.

                    the axon series imo has always had better designs and this one just confirms it. This is just absolutely hideous. But oh well, this phone is the very definition of don't judge a book by its cover, the specs are absolutely monstrous, lovely to see those killer specs.

                    AND THAT UW CAM, OMG, THAT IS HUGE. Great job nubia, if specs are to be believed then this phone's UW cam is bigger (1/1.55 vs 1/1.56 lol) and has a better aperture (f/1.8 vs f/2.2). The only thing that's bothersome is how wide the UW cam is, it's only 18mm compared to 15 mm from Oppo and even 14m from their own Z50 Ultra and 13 mm from their Z50s Pro, bit of a backwards step in that regard. Wish they went for something like 14 mm and then stuck with a 1/1.6"-ish sensor, would've been big enough with a wide focal length, just how an UW cam should be.

                    Selfie's the big flaw here but the uninterrupted display is also cool. Tho I'd say the notchless design is best on gaming phones or niche phones, not flagships. ZTE is killing it with the specs, huge sensors, HUGE battery, the fastest chip and storage. But they're just getting done by their only "good enough" processing, especially at night. The cams are certainly better than Samsung's imo, but that doesn't cut it nowadays, especially with the Oneplus 12 and the iqoo 12 being here. But only time will tell. Would love to see some comparisons between these phones and reviews from gsmarena would help.

                                Seeing a phone which have more ram than most computers on your casual shops around you lagy and buggy is not possible.
                                Its like if you buy a MC Laren or Ferrari or Bugati Chiron and going from Vienna to paris which is 1400 kilometers by speed of 20-30 miles per hour. Would be quiote a strange feat for such car.

For example, I had a realme 8 Pro and the software for some reason was very very buggy and laggy at times, which honestly left me very disappointed and changed it 5 months after buying it

                                        You can update any app for several years with said specs of the phone the app will works.
                                        Whether you get OS updates or security patches it does not matter that much.
                                        Even something like good old Samsung S3 mini can still works properly and is a 10 years old device it will handle most basic tasks with ease.
                                        Same can be with something bit never like Xiaomi Redmi note 4 or so.
                                        It does not matter much.
                                        This hardware can keep with app updates for several years witout any issues.
                                        For a security reasons i wouldnt use my phone as a credit card no matter what and no matter the brand, Had bad experiences in life rather will draw and swipe my credit card than use my phone or smartwatch instead.
