Hi don , im order frm lazada yesterday too , about the battery how long can use after u full charge it . and is the call quality good when make call , coz i hear many china user gt problem with the mic (ppl cant hear our voice when make call)

For everybody's information, the benchmark scores I got from my Alcatel Idol X using the Unreal Engine App is :
Average 46.3 FPS, Resolution 1920X1080, Perfomance level = "High Performance".

Ok guys here's my answers to your questions:
1) The phone is using mini-sims
2) Nope, the battery is not replaceable
3) I bought it from Lazada, a Malaysian online retailer..look for it in Lazada.com.my
4) It costs RM999, roughly translated to USD 300.
It feels very high-quality, but in order to have such a slim design, the battery is kinda low in capacity. Also, I hated the fact that Alcatel had removed the Apps Drawer from their Jelly Bean android. So the screen can get messy with icons...
Besides these annoyances, the phone is superb. Loving it.

The TCL branding is for China only, whereas the Alcatel branding is for the rest of the world..

I got my TCL Idol X S950 from China 2 days ago for around 2000 EGP approx 270 US $
The differences I noticed between the TCL & Alcatel versions are:
1. TCL version has dual SIM while Alcatel has only one
2. TCL version has no SDcard slot while Alcatel has
3. TCL stock version doesn't support google services (No Play store) but loaded with chinese store unuseful forsure for no chinese people like us
4. Some differences in colors, TCL has darkblue color which is not available in Alcatel " Pretty Sexy Color "
First Impression:
1. The phone is Slim, Good Material, Nice back color, simply an elegant phone
2. The Display is very nice, sharp & colourfull enough
I compared it to my old Moto Droid Razr Display, the latter looked like a 10 years mobile compared to it although the Moto has super AMOLED
3. Booting was okay fast, but can't judge it's performance as I didn't try benchmarkig yet
4. Touch response & Windws, Icons navigation is pretty cool
5. What about the Battery?! For a mobile of this size & bright display, also so slim, the battery is more than okay, single full charge can last for day, from morning to night including different activties on phone (Browsing, data always enabled, voice calling, music playing but no gaming)
6. Phone Overheating: this point is actually impressive, no overheating at all, perfect
7. External Speaker is nice, clear n crisp n not so loud as common chinese mobiles.
8. Software, the only drawback! the stock chinese software is made for chinese market, so no Google support (No Play store, Google accouts), a lot of un wanted chinese applications, also there are no available ROMs for the mobile currently online,
But this problem has a simple work around by finding some alternatives to Google Play
Ill keep you updated as soon as I discover anything
Conclusion: One of the best cheap mobiles available worldwide, excellent value for money

even without keyboard I can receive arabic and also can read my facebook in arabic with no issue
