Alcatel One Touch Idol Ultra now available, costs €265

08 May, 2013

We've just received a tip confirming the Alcatel One Touch Idol Ultra has just gone on sale.

Alcatel claims the Idol Ultra is the world's slimmest Android phone with its 6.45mm thickness, but that's a claim a bit hard to confirm considering how often it's made recently. Even more so considering that the smartphone is actually thicker at the camera module.

Anyway, in case you need a refresh, the One Touch Idol Ultra is powered by the MediaTek MT6577 chipset with a dual-core 1.2GHz Cortex-A9 processor, PowerVR SXG531T graphics and 1GB of RAM. The rest of the specs include a 4.7-inch AMOLED 720p display, an 8MP rear camera with 1080p video recording, 16GB non-expandable internal storage, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean ticking inside.

We managed to spend some quality time with the slender droid at the MWC back in February and you can check out our hands-on here.

The Alcatel One Touch Idol Ultra has already launched in selected Asian markets at about €265.

Thank you, dj, for the tip!
