I am not going to upgrade my iPhone 4. I will just wait the iPhone 5 next year because I want a different overall design. If I upgraded to iPhone 4S, people don't recognize which iPhone I am using Iphone4 of iPhone4S. But still, if iPnone 5 remains 3.5" screen, it's a big NO to me. I will get an Android phone Sony Ericsson or STC.

One more thing... it doesn't matter if you have a dual core chip at 2 gigs in an android phone... the software architecture simply is not intelligent to fully utilize the Hardware capability.

The R&D Dollars spent on this phone show in the beauty of its design, construction, and functionality.
IOS5 is optimized for all of the hardware... there is not phone that will be as seamless and intuitive this, the latest alliteration of the Iphone Family.

well im glad i didnt want around for this junk. i had an iphone 4 and i hated it as it looked so dam boring,

This Iphone 4S like its precedence is officially marking the beginning of a new era in smartphone. A era of dual-core cpu and more powerful gpu capable of much more.
In the comment below mine, people are criticizing the Iphone 4S as not enough or simply doesn't worth to buy, but do you remember what happened to the Iphone 3G, it has also been upgraded with the Iphone 3GS. Its Apple way to upgrade their product, the design changes after 2 years, so just wait until next year for a "Iphone 5" if you think this Iphone 4S is not enough.

but when compare to the os
ios much much much much better than android

iPhone 4S is a 3rd class smartphone comparing other smartphones on the market.... Didnt expect iPhone 4S coz my android is far better than it ~_~ when will be iPhone 5 realesed ? ? Shamne on apple i will not go 4 it thnx samsung u rock i love u ^_^

wowww it's amazing with it's siri technology and it's look more smarter than apple4 isn't it?

samsung always had the better specs to wobble around with .. just like how it beat the iphone4 with the galaxy s on one of gsmarena's head to toe battle .. :) .. but its really more of a choice to make .. still in the end .. samsung never really beats the iphone :) (its not the specs; its the phone itself)

i'd have to say it is indeed more of a marketing strategy to put up the S version of the phone .. its like apple is trying to convince NEW users that the iphone S version is better than the earlier one .. so its time for you get one(considering that fact that you dont have one yet)

what about ram has they upgraded it from 512 to 1gb....
and the 2nd thing.. is there availability of video calling through phone in previous version video calling was only on wi-fi....
overall they improved....reason is simple samsung galaxy is giving tough competition....
still in some aspect galaxy s2 is leading....like
processor(1.2 ghz)
hsdpa data speed(21 mbps)
extra memory card option...
2mp front camera....
usb on the go support....
still competitive...
best of luck...apple..good job.but some more effort is needed..

This iPhone is for those who want to buy a new iphone, it doesn't mean that you NEED to buy this phone. For those who talk rubbish about this phone, i don't really know if you're just annoyed because you can't buy this phone because its too expensive or its just you don't have anything to do. And for those SAID that android, HTC and samsung companies will take down this company tough luck, beat their computer technology first.

history repeating itself, looks more like a business strategy to me now .. i guess this means we'll need to wait for the S version instead of going the first one .. the S seems more complete.. accdg to history though..
