Don't be naive. iOS doesn't need 2GB RAM, it runs smooth on 1GB as well. With all this, unfortunately, iPhone is still behind a lot of phones. I would say iPhone 6 is the first failure in the production history.

not at al hapy with the improvements made by apple in i phone 6. . . except increase in size and battery not worthy changes in processor,back and front camera,ram and design

my samsung galaxy s4 beats the iphone 6 in every way. the iphone is still on 1gb ram stilk dual core still talkiny about the bloody apertures but never improving the bloody camera.
my s4 has better camera better battery better screen ppi more features. whats the iphone 6 got?? dual core lol my s4 ram is 2gb ram and my s4 came out neatly 2 years ago. apple customers are stupid and follow blindly
how can you out a £500 price tag on a 8mp camera and 1gb ram and then they are have the guts to say its a 64 bit arc....64 bit arch only works on a ram with minimum 4gb ram...another lie from apple.
only good thing about apple is thier design howevet htc one m8 has better design better build.

I do not see anything In this phone that is causing all this noise 720p display 8 megapixel camera dual core 1.4 ghz processor this is mid range specs in android phones lg g3 and s5 is 10 time better than this nonsense with a very high price

The phone might come with a hefty price tag and a compilation of hardware pieces that might have come out years ago on others devices, someone even mentioned that 1GB ram is not enough and that it's a joke. But, considering the aesthetic design, the slew of new features, the integration of both hardware AND software, this phone wins. What does it have over other devices in the market right now? To start, the hardware and the software just work seamlessly (You don't need more than a gig of ram to run iOS smoothtly)! As a gamer and UI designer, I can't wait to see what devs come up with. New APIs on iOS 8 are very promising, which will make apps better and more functional. The Android market is of poor quality, no one can say otherwise. The Apple app store might be plagued by pay-to-play freemium titles, but the android market is even worse. I can get all my google apps on iPhone, and sometimes they look better on the retina display than on their proprietary android device. The phone's size is just right, even if the iPhone is late to the party when it comes to screen size, it's now the best screen on the market. They said it themsleves "iPhone is the world most popular camera too", and they've outdone themselves. I have never taken a picture faster or better than on iPhone. For anyone that's looking for an elegant device that's sure to be the industry standard, that will provide great entertainment and a unique experience, this is the device to own. Don't focus on tech specs, looks, or price of the device. But how all of them work together to make the device the best iPhone yet. I am a great fan of Android as an operating system for tablets, in that case any tablet is better than an iPad. But the iPhone, it just doesn't have competition. Count on me being one of the eccentric consumers that is lining up starting at 6am at the Apple Store next Friday, getting a spay grey 4.7 model. Very excited! iPhone has come a long way :)
