I like this phone specifically because of it's non-qwerty keypad. I always prefer the normal alphanumeric keypad. They're sexy! The specs of this device is actually more than enough for me. Is this going to release here in the United States? I'm gonna buy two units.

They lack in the fancy looks of more recent OS's but, even the iPhone OS has stayed the same for 4 generations. The only differences in the 4th is "multitasking" and the wallpaper thing. I prefer a phone that is stable and covers my needs. For me that's the Blackberry. While, usually they make 2 versions: 1 for GSM and 1 for CDMA, These 2 were made to target 2 sets of people: Alphanumeric users and QW ER TY users. I never likes SurePress but multitap on a alphanumeric keypad is as fast as a regular QWERTY device for me. Don't buy it if you don't want to. And not everyone uses FM radio anymore, so many apps for streaming, so no point really.

y does blackberry refused to put a fm radio in there handsets,and y is there always 2 version of the same phone,not buying it, and even in the successors to there phone there only 1 r 2 upgrades, that just sucks.

I am so buying this phone when it hits Philippine market. I am so satisfied with my Bold 9700 and with this new Pearl with alphanumeric keypad, texting will never be the same. I love you BlackBerry!
