vikas jain, 29 May 2014hi frnds, i just wan 2 know abt bb q5 and its perfomence..... moreI think you are similar to me then, all Lumia phones are so very very slow, WP is made that way, everything ticks along in its own and very slow pace, so frustrating, i dont understand how people can live with it. BB10 doesnt have any problem like that, the animations and transitions are short enough to not destroy the user experience, you will never be forced to wait for that lame same old Lumia animation where it feels like the final sideways movement lasts forever. BlackBerry 10 is the most pleasant OS i have ever tried.

After the Black berry OS update of 10.2.1.2491 the handset and battery seems to be better.

hi frnds,
i just wan 2 know abt bb q5 and its perfomence...
how it works, i used iphone 4, note 2, lumia 720, satisfied with note 2 n iphone4. but lumia 720 is damm slow. so howz bb q5 works fast and how about the net.. i had prob with bb bold 9900... suddenly light gets more brighter and suddenly battery low..
so i cant trust bb.. but guys you plz help.. is bb q5 dont have any prob...

I am using the device for the past few days. The Biggest problem is device memory full with in 2 or 3 days. Once I make a Security wipe it shows 4GB balance. I think there is a Software Bug which causes the problem.
I am using Gmail Apps, and I don't know is there anything to do with Settings.
I have deleted my mail accounts also, but the problem is not solving.
Blackberry should release a Update to solve it.

Using this from past 5 month and I'm totally satisfied with it. Everything is good about it. It's looks good and beautiful. Plus point is os itself. No lag,no hang. Speed browsing and have very much interesting things. Got radio after SW update 10.2.1. And now I can download any android app (jelly bean apps). This is really a cool stuff from blackberry. I'm a satisfied customer of blackberry from past 5 years. Thanks

I am using this phone for the last 1 month and I thought of pointing out few things:
1) it is just so silly to even compare a OS7/7.1 device to a BB10 device. No BB7 device can come close to BB10 device when it comes to web, use speed and on-screen aesthetics;
2) you no more need BIS but you still retain same security even with a normal gprs plan;
3) even the flagship Bolds didn't have front cam, all BB10 phone have them;
4) Skype support present on BB10;
5) no more hourglass for lags;
6) majority android apps available(hassle free .apk file install)
Now coming to Q5:
1) bigger screen size than any OS7/7.1 device with much higher resolution(more than iPhone 4S retina display);
2) 2GB RAM so no "out of memory" error;
3) Dual core Krait processor for faster operations;
4) FM Radio available, 5mp decent camera with HD front cam(native Skype support);
5) much improved BBM with free voice and video calls(if supported by other handset);
6) 2nd largest battery in the BB series after Z30;
7) 1080p video recording @30fps;
8) H+ internet speeds, Wi-fi direct & NFC connectivity(country variant).
And yes, it does support whatsapp and doesn't need costly BIS plan.
In the end I have two conclusion. First, it may not be the best phone on market but it over-delivers at its price point. 2nd, no way a legacy OS7/7.1 Bold device can be compared to this handset functionality and specwise.

The included office suite is one of the things i dislike about BB, lucky i got mine so very cheap, if i had to pay full price i would hesitate because it would be like i was helping to pay for something that i dont use, and almost noone use, like we are all contributing to a few business users who should have had their employer pay the office suite anyway and not put the expenses on regular users.
Hope theres no office suite included in upcoming BB phones or i may switch back to Xperia or iPhone where i pay for what i use, and never pay anything for what other people use.

Just want clarity onto this device,Im using it now for almost a month,but Ive spent a lot of data bundles surfing,why cant the device be made like others,you just update your BIS then surf as ussual,the BB10 service must cover all the social networks,last but least,WHY DOES THE BATTERY IRREMOVABLE?(Reply onto this address akayseatlholo@gmail.com)Hope you my input will be considered.

u cant believe some time i checked by phone by calling my Q5 from othther phone. in caller phone you get tha phone is ringing but in ralality you will not get any ring tone.. some time later you grt a miss call notification in hub...
this phone is a flop show as main feature of any mobile phone is call, recive call but thi phone is not giving you such feature.

I am very much surprised that you all passing your reviews for Q5...do all of you own this phone.. i am very much correct to my words i own this phone...this 15 day old phone...with OS updated and not using any applications like facebook games and other...my only work to txt, mail, call and notes. in this 4 application this is worst phone i had ever used... non responsive touch screen,device getting hot..have visited to services center they simply replied this will solved by itself. i again freeze by listing to these words.. my only request i you are blackbeery boy please buy their 7OS that is bbest one...even i am ready to exchange this 15 day pld phone to 9220.
please this is your hard earned money dont waste these by buying BB Q5...
