I've noticed that when I go into a couple of the large phone shops at the mall the Samsung, LG and a few of the other phones on display have the finish wearing off the buttons or edges or backs. The Blackberry Z10 that's been on display for over a year now looks as good as new.
As long as the company keeps up the high quality and high level of support for updating the OS I'll continue to buy Blackberry.

I've owned both the Z10 and Z30. When I told friends I was selling my Z10 they were falling over themselves to buy it from me. Both handsets are very good, the OS is simply awesome (especially given it was a ground up build of a new OS and had very few bugs) and the last 2 releases have improved on a number of features, including the ability and support for sideloading Android applications.
The lack of applications with the Z10 when it first came out was certainly a drawback, but no more. BB is doing a very good job of support and improving it's product. Anyone who buys any one of the Z-line phones with BOS 10 will not be disappointed unless your completely fixated on the camera's MP specs.

Franz, 29 Apr 2014Can anyone tell why my z30 battery is frequent get over hea... moreThe likely reason your battery is getting hot is because you're either running a cpu/graphics intensive game or downloading multiple things or surfing through multiple tabs at the same time. This has been my experience.
Point is this: It doesn't matter. You're working the phone hard and it doesn't damage it one bit.
If your battery is always that warm all the time then take it to the shop.

Battery life with this phone is great. At least 2 days sometimes up to 3 days.

I think Android is best than any other phones.android is user frndly.black berry or iphone is not so user frndly like android.you can do every think that you want to do in a smart phone.you can change its rom.you can expand your ram & storage.but you can't do it on black... or ip... so i lv android smart phns.

I never used blackberry before but after using
Q5 for my first blackberry phone. I have to admit that the smartphone with new BB10 OS is the best smartphone ahead of others.

Can you try reloading the OS ( after taking a backup for later restoration). Sometimes this might solve the issue.
There are leaked OSs autoloaders available( newer versions) as well. If you don't mind tinkering a bit, you may try them as well.

FaDi, 28 Apr 2014bcz it has poor camera, its only 8mgb with low resolution! I see. Then, in your opinion, a smartphone is just a camera? If that is the case, which alternative do you recommend?
