Google Pixel XL currently going for $744 in US - a $26 discount
If you are in the US, and are planning to purchase the newly-unveiled Google Pixel XL, you'll be glad to know that the device has already received a price cut in the country. Best Buy currently has the device (Verizon variant) listed for $744.

If you take a look at Google's online US store and Verizon's website, you'll see that the handset is priced at $770. So purchasing from Best Buy will save you $26. Not to mention that the retailer is bundling a $100 gift card and a free Chromecast as well.
The discount is available on the silver and black colored variants of the handset. Shipments are set to begin October 20.

You're more likely to get laughed at for using an iPhone because you'll be simply labeled a basic. Nothing wrong with the Pixels design its already grown on me.

Impossible to generalize like so. iPhones drop slow. Samsung drops fast. Depends on the device
