No Matter what HTC do to make a good camera, they fail. i had expectations from this one but even LG Optimus G pro has better camera .

Guys was not hat happy about the cam rest all was fine...
If the cam would have been 13mP and then given ultra pixel with 5mp it would make sense for everyone to use and choose between different variants of camera options to enhance the pic quality.. Here the max is 5 mp not so happening.. Think about you declining sales HTC its not good to experiment with limitations, experiment with diversity so the product is not hit badly..

Guys don't get disheartned by seeing 4MP camera, this phone's picture quality is better then 8MP camera. 4MP is enough to make a life size photograph. Quality of the picture depends on the amount of light entering the camera lenses.

guys watch comparison video on youtube.htc one vs lumia 920 vs 720. Htc one clearly lose the game to lumia 920.bcoz of ultrapixel htc one images were bright but quality was very low. And even lumia 720 with 6.7 mp able to beat htc one. Htc one camera is crap. Must watch video.

If the sensor itself is a higher resolution one (which is probable) and if you have good image processing algorithms, then you can use it for lossless zoom and better image quality.

jan_0206, 04 Mar 2013my!!for those people who are complaining about that 4mp cam... morei'm sorry but I think the "megapixel" of a camera significantly affects the quality if pictures taken.. it's not just the size but also the number of pixels in the picture.. if you zoom in the picture cameras with lower MP tend to have pixelated images, like you can actually see tiny squares in the picture where as if you have higher MP, the pixels are a lot more conceled. HTC should have gone at least 8mp because 12mp mobile cameras are just around the corner. I tell you a lot of users are considering the camera.

i think its a 4 ultrapixel...small megapixel doesn't make difference compare to higher one but it will pixelate when you zoom it...

All I want is a half decent camera phone to do this and that's why I've preordered the one. Why don't you stop telling people what to buy. Do you carry a camera round with you all day ? my!!for those people who are complaining about that 4mp camera..don't you get it!!?your complaining about that megapixels..hello!!?mega pixels just only describe how large the size can be made! megapixels= "SIZE!" not the "QUALITY!" your stuck with that mega pixels..picture quality doesn't rely with the size of the image..does it means more mega pixels better picture quality??come on..wake up! that's why HTC said that they take the risk because of that camera..because people will mislead the 4mp camera,because they are stucked with megapixels..
