iPhones can update their OS to the latest iOS as long as its device can handle it. On the other hand, Samsung Phones can only update their OS up to 2 major OS update. Bullshit

I have this phone. Whenever I play some rhythm games, it's noticeable that my taps are sometimes not registering. Is this common for everyone or is it just on my side?

Will never trust Samsung again.Bought note 5 in December 2017 went off in August 2018,no warning nothing just switched off.Every technician i have seen claims its not repairable nor flashable!!!!!

WARNING!!! DO NOT UPDATE to February Security Patch Update onwards!! You will no longer have the ability to downgrade your OS since the update contains new LOCKED Bootloader (Nice try Samsung after not having the Android O and now you're removing the ability to downgrade OS on stock firmwares)
Update BUGS:
1. VERY POOR CAMERA QUALITY
2. Battery consumption increases around 30%
3. A bit laggy
4. Popups and opening apps are not so responsive
5. WiFi connection takes a LONG TIME to connect to routers
6. VERY SLOW Internet Browser
7. Takes a lot of time to send a text message
8. Screen color is yellowish

Anyhow you might be right about the lcd burn and all, after the update the phone heats up like a flat iron instantly when playing regular games. I guess it caused mine to get that burn. Been trolling the net. Sad news all note series are could be prone to pink tints. Glad yours working smoothly upto now.

Been using this phone since 2015 with no issues at all. Only the battery consumption increased when updated to android 7.0 but it's not considered as a phone's issue, rather an OS issue. Other says they never dropped the phone nor got it wet but they forgot where they always puts their phone that bends their phones (such as back pants pocket) that causes the phone's screen to go blank. Also, maximizing their brightness that causes AMOLED burn. The phone is good, only it's users has issues and not the phone itself

Been using the phone for a year. Pink hue from the bottom starts spread. After 1month entire screen becomes all black. Never dropped the phone nor overcharge it. Still looking for a cheap class b lcd screen+digitizer replacement. Never buy this phone. Waste of money

While I use more samsung than xperia, xperia have better battery, 3years still good for gaming, note cant stand 2years

1 December 2017 security update is full of garbage. Better stick with 1 November 2017 Update. 1 December 2017 security update will ruin your device
