AnonD-8044, 10 May 2013I played with it and not really impressed,why will it not l... moreyesterday i played with the s4 for a bout one hour,there is no issues in increasing and decreasing the brightness,i ran almost every app and features on the phone and i didn't face any stutter or lag,all the photos and videos i took were great with zero lag.
i think there is a software problem in the unit you've tried or in your country patch.

... morei used to have wave 1,it is impossible to run android os without missing features and a lot a lot of lags,the ram of wave 1 and 2 is only about 256 mb for each.

It must be compared with samsung gallaxy tab 2.
Tab 2 is better than S4.

People are stupid! Did Iphone 5 have hologram, no of course. Did s4 have it, no but it have Air Gestures. That Apple couldn't have in billions of years.

Buying this s4 today afternoon with lots and lots of expectation
Coz til now I was using Samsung y phone this is my first flagship phone
Too much excited , after saving money for one yr now I'm getting this phone

got my s4 just a few days ago works great very fast and the battery very good.One question any one this might sound strange but does this have a fan in it

Damn phones have worked for years without giving them a rest its not a human body.
I waited for the release of S4 like others but it failed to excite me ,,after the silly presentation and he got the S4 out and it was just the same damn thing it reminded me of waiting for apple and they got out same design again..Remember Nokias quirky designs and colours something new coming out all the time...What do we get now just a boring screen..GSMARENA announces new phones every day and they are just the same old design,,look new lg due,,sont releases x range and whatever all just boring slabs..Iam smartfone obsessive but unimpressed with todays smartphones and their faults.
Lets see who can make slimmest phone when every buggars crying out for bigger batterys and with extra thickness comes better optics and more comfortable in hand..Arghh flipping bored of smartphones bring something new to table to blow us away..
You just watch tommorrows news of another round of same phones being released looking just the same.

sammy, 09 May 2013As a long standing samsung fan, I was honestly so dissapoin... moreI played with it and not really impressed,why will it not let you turn up brightness it says cant to stop overheating..This is in Tescos.I tried today again and their are stutters and jolts in the device..There can be a delay in taking pictures which is not on this is more 2010 phone..Anyway after about 20 minutes and bored with all the complex settings and junk instaleed I left it yet again and not buying it.
Its still a boring miserable slab to look at and NOT worth 569GBP at all.This needs a big firmware update cause something is causing lag,stutters and camera blur..If its all the software they have put on then that's no excuse the phone should work as intended out of box..This S4 had no card inside either it would be worse with my 64GB card in and all my 1.1GB of apps onboard.

advice, 09 May 2013today i played with the octa version of the s4,there is zer... morenote2 has much better battery life ,my friend's own it ,
in between ,I m samsung wave2 user , and I m using jelly bean , and play a lot "modern combat 4:zero hour " game on it , there is no lag or heating issues in this metal body phone ,
soon will go for iphone 5

Anonymous, 09 May 2013i have s4 the octa version i think samsung release this tim... moretoday i played with the octa version of the s4,there is zero lag,i can't comment a lot about heating but during the the hour i spent with the phone i didn't experienced any heat ,the battery drained very slowly.
i think your phone might need a software update.

i have s4 the octa version i think samsung release this time a complete faliure really compared to note 2 this phone is a complete faliure. 1- it overheats when surfing the net temp. reaches 48 degree celsius iam not playing games only surfing the web. the overheating reaches to a point u cannot use the phone.
2- the phone is not speedy it lags when u scroll between home page.
3- battery drained toooo fast i charged in the night in the morning 7am its 100% i used the phone and at 3pm its 5% only i make 6 calls maybe 2 minutes to 3 minutes , i surf the web for 30 minutes thats all till the temp. reaches 48 .
4- iam closing the phone at night and open it next morning and it happens three time when i open it it goes into safe mode i do not know what is that i closed the phone and open it again it disappear .5- the call quality its loud but not clear.
i compared s4 to note 2 which is a marvelous device i mean the note2 doesnot heat at all with surfing the web or playing modern combact or any intensive graphic games iam listening to music downloading video watching it never heat, no lag one time only battery backup very good. good that i didnot sold it.
thats my bad experience with s4
