iPhone 6 sapphire crystal display cover gets an arrow shot at it

The iPhone 6 display is a hot topic of discussion these days, not just because it will be larger than its predecessors but also because of the use of sapphire crystal for the display cover.

We have seen the panel being put to test in a video before where it survived a lot of scratching and even severe bending but this time someone decided to take it up several notches and just shoot an arrow at it.

So now we have a Full Metal Jacket carbon fiber arrow being shot through a Carbon Spyder Turbo compound bow at 340 feet per second at an unsuspecting sapphire panel. It's no surprise then that the panel shatters like common glass but then this is hardly a scenario it was built to withstand.
