I have two problems with the phone:
1. It doesn't list by last name. It will display by last name but sorting remains by first name. Synced from gmail contacts.
2. Cannot set up appointments to calendar. Calendar keeps stop working. Sync with google calendar changed the appointment times for 7 hours later.

I bought the phone for my gf as the tablet she currently uses runs out of power in half a day. She's the fussy type but with this phone she's very happy and no complaints so far. Phone is rooted with FRAMAROOT.
I'm planning to buy another set for myself.

i hv use this phone for 2 months. long lasting battery with heavy use for 1 and half day in full charge. big screen. i never get malfunction or hang situation although i open multi-apps in one time.. buy at RM 780 in Malaysia. very worth for your money spent on this phone.

Bought it in Malaysia from official retailer. Phone is great with 4000mah.horse stamina. Service center is very helpful. I found Indian users are complaining a lot. Pls don't buy this phone from India. There is NO official retailer. That's why it has defects bcs it been refurbished. Malaysian users are satisfied. My friends also buying. 3 friends bought it no complain att all.

Good looking mobile with powerful battery. Rigntones are loud enough to work as an alarm. Downside is the stereo without RDS with feeble sound effects and average camera. Supplied apps with the mobile are good but there are some demos installed.

Not true about Lenovo service, the service here in Canada is superb, its door to door via UPS or FedEx for Notebooks and PC's, they even service the 'Grey Market' over sea's phones with the warranty.

I stay in Warangal Dist/AP. After seeing many favourable reviews and impressive ratings about P780, I thought of purchasing the same. However, I could not ascertain Service Support anywhere close to the place I live, since there is no info on the same in LENOVO website. Moreover, when contacted the customer care service (1860-180-3425) coolly informed that they are not authorized to give these details unless valid IMEI number(s), is presented. So, purchasing a LENOVO Smart phone appears to be gamble so far as service support is concerned.

DEFECTIVE SCREEN
I have got this mobile from a retailer, just to get a hands on experience of the mobile. I was taken away by the big screen, battery backup and decent camera quality for which I purchased the mobile. But after a few weeks (2-3 weeks) I could see the SCREEN FLICKER clearly when it has a light background (white or pink) in full brightness, this is a big issue and does not seem to improve even after restarting the mobile. When i googled about this, I could see lot of people complaining about this issue in LENOVO FORUMS. I have returned my phone for service to the retailer. Waiting to expect some good news from LENOVO. But please dont buy it now till LENOVO solves the issue.

This lenovo mkt quad core processor was not bad for gaming and is better than that snapdragon dual core processor. hope this will help u.
