On top of that my hope screen kept resetting every few weeks and my app icons moved themselves around at random times. My phone would restart randomly, shut off randomly and apps crashed far too frequently

NK, 19 Nov 2012iPad 3or4 is much better than surface:
1.surface dose not ... more1. For a large tablet it's not really necessary to have cellular connectivity (Though this is a preference).
2. Resolution isn't everything, Surface's display has deeper colour and runs a lot smoother.
3. This is a matter of preference, I'm happy someone finally made a tablet I can run video on without black bars.
4. Yes, this is true and somewhere the Surface falls down for most people.
5. Having a good camera on a tablet is a joke and promotes idiots using it like they would a phone camera or camera in public resulting in a lot of pissed off people who can't see beyond it at a gig or football match
6. Could you please link me to the benchmark tests? Having trouble finding them

iPad 3or4 is much better than surface:
1.surface dose not have 3g or lte network
2.display ress on iPad is much higher than surface 264PPI vs 148PPI
3.screen on surface is wrong (16:9) because this is tablet pc not laptop screen or TV
4.iOS has lots of apps
5.rear camera on iPad 5-MP
6.CPU: A5X specially A6X with a custom apple core (swift) is faster than tegra 3 based on cortex-A9

i don't like the kickstand. its a movable part that i think is prone to breakage.

Why cann't Microsoft produce a surface tablet with an intel atom x86 processor in it as recent android phones with intel atom x86 procesor.
so that it can run most of the .exe files in the market.

Guery, 08 Nov 2012Where did you get it, inwant oneI ordered it from France, they deliver to anywhere in Europe. The one drawback you may find is that the touch cover or type cover will be in AZERTY and not QWERTY which will be awkward for anyone who doesn't touch type
