imo, user experience > specs
specs are just what's on paper, not how the phone actually performs. like with an iphone 5. dual core a6 chip, 1.3 ghz. definitely not the most powerful. but somehow almost as fast as the 1.9 ghz samsung galaxy s4. this is mostly because, plain and simply, specs are not everything at all. ios is a snappier os than android and touchwiz is bloated and lags the phone. not to mention the screen is a whole inch bigger so it will take more time to load everything on a screen, and pretty much finish up only a tiny bit later than the iphone 5.
the s4 camera has 5 more megapixels than the iphone 5. but when you compare pictures, do they really look that different? and does the 8mp camera look terrible compared to the 13 mp one? be honest, no. same with the front camera. the real 13 mp advantage is bigger pictures.
not only does the s4 have a bigger screen, but it also has over 100 more ppi. the iphone 5 screen isn't even 720p, whereas the s4 has 1080p. but when you look at the two together, can you really differ from the two that much? infact the iphone 5 may even appear crisper due to the more compact screen.
and that's APPEAR crisper. that's how it is, unlike on paper where IT IS crisper. much like the speed. on paper the s4 IS faster. but the iphone 5 APPEARS almost the same speed.
on paper they still have the same web browsing speed; 100 mbps, but again the iphone 5 will probably load either the same speed or a little faster because there is less to load.
the s4 battery has more than 1000 mah more than the iphone 5 battery, but the iphone 5 has some power-saving features aswell as a smaller, weaker screen to power (which is still fine.) so the s4 only has a bit more battery life.
i could go on, maybe even the screen protection, gorilla glass. gorilla glass is still very strong, so is gorilla glass 3 really necessary and even when you drop the s4 in the wrong place the screen will still crack.
s4 I9505 advantages are of course removable battery, microsd card EVEN THOUGH the storage capacities are ON PAPER, the same 16/32/64. thing is, the amount of s4 variants there are (especially the better ones/ones with prettier colours) just end up pissing off early s4 customers. whereas the iphone 5 releases a phone then only releases its upgrade a year later. this will also keep people on contract happier, they can get a 12 month contract when an iphone comes out, and then know that once it ends they can upgrade right to the next, better variant.
there are so many different things, and tbh i've rambled off what i said at the start but this is what causes iphone 5 vs s4 wars, stuff like people saying that the specs are so much better that it means the iphone 5 sucks, but no. performance and user experience > on paper specs. a commonly used argument is that the iphone 5 is alot more user-friendly and noob-friendly as it is supposedly alot more simple, however imo android isn't exactly complicated...
personally i dislike iphones, i think that they are overpriced and i just get pissed off when people snatch up an iphone and immediately think they have the best phone around. the s4 is only 20 pounds more unlocked than the iphone 5, when it is really for alot more stuff than is worth 20 quid. that's not me saying that the iphone 5 is overpriced and the s4 isn't, i think it could be alot cheaper like the lg g2 has better specs but it is almost £100 less, and that's just on preorder.
just my 2, 3, 4, 5, 6... etc, cents!

Hello Moto X this phone will be more successful if you launch it in INDIA too at competitive possible price, Google please don't make late in INDIA like Nexus..We are waiting for MOTO X in india but add memory card slot ok...thanks

Most of you have no idea what a development like this could mean to those of us who are paralyzed. It's ironic that smartphones & tablets are primarily uselessto people who can't usetheir hands or arms.
Many people here are just talking 8 core, 3Gb Ram, 64GB and more but what about this paralyzed people?
Well Done Moto X for this great User Experience.

The Moto X isn't the fastest or most powerful.
I was very clear by saying the "Moto X is smater than the Galaxy Note 3 or any other android phone in the market.
The Motorola Chipset homemade X8 is the secret of making the Moto X smarter than any phone in the world.
At the end, I don't care because you people are just " BLIND and JEALOUS".
