Frank, 09 Oct 2014Does everyone know US Moto x can work 4G of UK ? thanks The US Moto X won't work with 4G LTE in the UK (they use different frequencies). However it is compatible with all 3G networks, and has HSDPA+ speeds of up to 42 Mbps so the difference shouldn't be too noticeable (depending on where you are/your network etc). I'm planning on buying a US version to use in the UK, so hope I'm right!

Krish, 07 Oct 2014It says its dual core engine, whereas Moto Gs come up with ... moreHi Krish, in answer to your question, the Moto X is much faster than the Moto G. Although it only has the 1.7GHz Dual Core Krait, it also has a further 6 cores (the Motorola X8 chipset). So it is more powerful and more versatile than the Moto G. You definitely don't need to worry about it being too slow! However it might be worth considering that the Moto X doesn't have a micro sd card slot for expandable storage (the newest Moto G versions do), and the battery life on the Moto G is probably better. But if those factors aren't that important, definitely go for the Moto X, it's a beautiful phone

It says its dual core engine, whereas Moto Gs come up with Quad-Core. Will Dual core make the phone any slow? Expert and on-hand experience please?

I am using the z1 compact now after ditching my htc m8. I love the size of the compact and the battery and processing speed seems fine even after using the more powerful m8. I think the moto x would be a lil better than the z1compact as the screen is a bit bigger but the body is quite small and compact.

Anonymous, 05 Oct 2014Is it fast? Yea. It says dualcore, but it's an X8 chip. Practically a quad since it has 2 high perf and 2 low perf. Ends up giving 2days worth of battery. Most software only uses two-cores anyways.

I am planning to buy a midrange phone and my budget is Rs. 25000. I am considering the moto x (2013), samsung note 3 neo and the htc desire 820. I like the moto x for its size and good GPU, but is the overall performance of the moto x smooth without any lag?
