and today the official update is launch, not the ICS though, only GB 2.3.6, anything else you like to know ?
and btw, the GSM can go up to edge (but to enable the function you need to install a patch).

ANTO, 27 Dec 2011I already use this motorola XT 882 in Indonesia, I buy from... morewell that's make two of us then,
about the data from the gsm network, there's a patch that allow the network to be set at edge, not too helpful if you compare it with hsdpa, still the evdo rev a works fine, most of the time.

I already use this motorola XT 882 in Indonesia, I buy from China for RMB 4300 . 3 months . this is a good phone with dual sim dual standby cdma and gsm. battery is good. speed is nice. sound no problem. video is good.but only CDMA have 3G and very poor speed if u use gsm network, because only gprs. wanna buy ?

XT882 has FM Radio, though it needs headset to work, but it's FM Radio~!

sim 2 is GSM (GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900)
so the GSM is compatible for Europe, but the GSM only, are you sure you want this model ? if you used only the GSM, for that price you could get the new motorola RAZR or galaxy S II or the upcoming samsung nexus prime or other highend phones

Can somebody tell me if the 2 sim cards are operating GSM/GSM 900 / 1800 Mhz for Europe plz.???
On Motorola specifications SIM 1 looks only CDMA 800 and SIM 2 - GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900.
SIM 1 should not be compatible but well SIM 2 for Europe ?? Is it correct ? But wat a super smartphone it would be with 100% compatibility in 2G for Europe in professionnal use. Motorola should release a full dual SIM for Europe as well.

dual sim cdma/gsm kills the sense..
no chance to use cdma in traveling -its not so common as gsm
better choice -gsm/gsm dual sim.. hope that there will be an option for this model to choose gsm/gsm thing))
