Yes... Everything that is mentioned above is happening with my Nexus 4.
Hope they will fix it soon.

Yea i encountered this bug yesterday on my Nexus 5, pretty annoying that it kept killing power amp every 3 minutes despite the wakelock used and NICE priority set to -20, System used 1GB of Ram, reboot fixed it,

"Clever people" DO NOT wait for months to get core-OS security updates in devices that pretty much hold data that exposes their whole life.
It may seem petty, but rest assure many readers will make that mistake. (And Android manufacturers in general couldn't care less for their costumers in this regard.)

yup. I got this problem for weeks. i have two apps that crashes, facebook and instagram. The instragram crashed just once though.

On my Nexus 5 running 5.0.1, I have from 300MB to 800MB available.I have no SYNC or Wi-fi or GPS etc running , I switch the cell off , restart and I have 1GB plus , but the longer the cell is on the less the RAM becomes...
Are you sure that what you see is used RAM and not avaible RAM ...???
