xunter, 15 Jan 2015I'm surprised some people are still stuck with symbian, OS ... moreYou do understand that S40 was incapable of a +40mpx render and support for more than one CPU. It got faster only because elop (or electrical loch(lox) as i like to call him) killed of symbian. Also S means series, not symbian as most crapple and shitsung owners explain.

I'm surprised some people are still stuck with symbian, OS that is 2 steps forward 4 steps backward from s40. Low tech, slow and buggy up to its death.

Love you Nokia!
I wish Nokia comes back in performance mobiles... and preferably with Symbian.
All Symbian needed was about 50 free apps, which even Nokia could've got made....
And a little change at the root level to support newer resolutions... That's all what was needed. :(

that is true, nokia is a motherload of patents, last time apple took nokia to court, it had to pay nokia some half billion dollars and also profit on devices sold, nokia is basically untouchable, and holds many many designs and technology patents required for the running of modern smartphones today, nokia need not make a device and still will profit from royalities which of course will be lower than the actual profit of devices business, same goes to australian alliance company which owns the patent for wifi and ericsson which is a networking giant and owns patent to all the 2g,3g and lte and also continuously patenting future standards of technology.

Alius, 15 Jan 2015Most of patents went to Microsoft. So...Microsoft acquired Nokia's devices and services only.
Nokia still has 100% of its patents under technologies department.
You guys are ridiculous. If you know nothing, why you bother and comment?????

These flash sales are really irritating. After a time most people just buy something else. I can understand if only the first batch is a flash sale because the company gets an idea of the demand before scaling up the manufacturing. But continuing flash sales batch after batch sucks.
